Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2017) launched with quad-core CPU, 5,000mAh battery

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2017) is finally official. The tablet is powered by an SoC with quad-core, 1.4GHz processor, and sports an 8-inch display of 1280 x 800 pixel resolution.

RAM is 2GB, while internal memory is 16GB. The camera department is handled by an 8MP rear unit and a 5MP front shooter. Measuring 212.1 x 124.1 x 8.9mm and weighing in at 364g, the device runs Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box. A 5,000mAh battery is there to keep the lights on.

The tablet has been launched in Vietnam, where it carries a price tag of VND 6,490,000, which currently translates into around $285. There's no information on if and when it will be made available in other markets.

if only this tab has FHD screen.... its hard to find 16:9 tab these days...

Still going to buy this, but my ideal tablet would have 1280x800 resolution, 7.0 or 8.0 inches, Snapdragon 625, and a 6,000 mAh battery.
