I agee touchscreens arnt practical esp if u r a heavy user.
Nokia knonws this, and thats y their 1st 8 megapixel fone due in 2 weeks isnt expected to be touchscreen

for me, I disdain touchscreen phones.. though they seems to be the "in-thing" nowadays BUT.. there's no better tactile experience than to have tactile experience on it. I'm sure there are million of users who would agree with me on this.
In some touchscreen phones, once you cracked the screen, there's no way ever you can use the entire phone itself.. the basic core functions are in the screen.. once its cracked, phone's good as dead already. Not as much as with a keypad, that though the screen is cracked, as long as you can still see some words in it, you can still make calls and perhaps do some texting on it.

AGAIN:
-960 (mAh) why is this phone so thin? (960 mAh not enough for music player. It must be at least 1200 mAh)
-No 3.5 mm headphones jack?
UNTIL NOKIA START PUST THOSE FEATURES IN EVERY PHONE,
I will not buy 5MP Overpriced Junk and will buy basic Nokia phone!

Most people still prefer... moreCan you please elaborate why touch screens are not practical. i hate keypads actually u kip on clicking them and the paint finishes doesnt last for years. at least in a touch screen phone after use you just wipe the screen and walah clean already. no ugly fading paint to worry about. The phone is quite smart. Its features include the 5megapixel camera which is superb and the phone looks quite cool in all dimensions. There are some features missing that include a Symbian operating system and a Wlan. but if they would have put all of this into this phone then what would other phones do.....? If they had the this mobile phone would have rocked the market....

i to use a e51 and and atleast this has godd features as a 5mp cam and if it tha wifi it wud have been a complet package... but its ture you cant get everythin in one phone and just hope the battery life dsnt be low.....

no wifi, but they will probably release later on (one or two quarters) a 6701 version, just the way it happened with the 6300-6301
