I know that you cannot judge a camera just by it MP.
What I am saying is that, with N96 or the N97, they could have put in just a little bit more to tickle our fancy. ^_^
Just so you know, I LOVE Nokia, I just want them to UP their game a bit.
Like in a trilogy, I want the RETURN OF THE KING.

Well N97 is the next generation phone
maybe just a low garded cheap phone
it should have being with 8gb card high camara
and i reallly dont like the design...well let see the review..

You know about the cameras of the N95, N96, and N97, even though they're 5 megapixel cameras (seems pretty low for some people)the picture quality is still good (even better than my 8.1 megapixel digital camera), so doesn't it mean that the megapixel doesn't always count?

N96 & N97 just isnt a quantum leap that I expected. They still have the same 5MP shooter and a bit of spec upgrade. N96 is not that much better at all than the N95. and It's design, it looks like any NEW NSeries mobile available in the market. It does not perform that well. N97, after two years isnt much as well. LG really have a something something with the battery life, but their phones pack a punch. Though I dont like LG that much, I'll have to say that they do offer a bang for your buck, same goes with Samsung. Samsung, on the other hand, have been dishing out a lot great phones with better and better battery life.
I am sorry for living in the past, but Nokia still havent paved my way for the future.
I'll be waiting, maybe the N98 (if ever) can give Nokia GRAND COMEBACK it deserves.

It seemed that they gave it all w... moreKceeGee , would u mind if u get a closer look on the n96 and the n97 touch please . cuz u sound like a ancient king :-D lg and samsung doing a great job on designs but the battery life is awful i hope they will increase the battery life before anything else . u dont want a phone that needs to be charged everyday at 8 pm .

c", its a mishap for Nokia to let AT&T handle the design and feature of this phone. Americans have in general have weird taste, they love dreadful things like iPhone

What's up with Nokia?
It seemed that they gave it all with the N95 and N95 8GB. Because after this 2 awesome phone, they have done nothing but disasters one after another. the Nseries design-wise looks almost the same. A little spec upgrade here and there.
From the N95/N95 8GB, they have not done much to excite me. Mind you, I am a Nokia fanboy, or I was. I had the N90, N80, N93i, N73 ME and I still have my N95. But as I said it stopped there, 2 years ago. 2 years ago when Samsung is producing niche phones, LG was only known for the chocolate, Moto was still at its RAZR glory. (side note, I think moto also got stuck like Nokia).
Samsung and LG have both learned a LOT in the past 2years, they are now offering HIGH SPEC phones for a normal Nokia phone price.
Nokia, where's the innovation? where is the Nokia that keeps me cursing because before when I get a new Nseries phone, you would release a better Nseries phone that I just have to get. Where is the Nokia domination?
Don't bask in your former glory Nokia. All other phone manufacturers are creeping to dethrone you. I wanna see my KING. I want my KING to rule the land.

What is this? A phone or a calculator? Nokia should be making phones with monster specs or else they will be left behind by other manufacturers.

Nokia is worlds best mobile manufacturer but this phone is just a backward step.
