This is Nokia's answer to all the Samsung and LG offerings. Where is the real Nokia, and why aren't they responding with some quality handsets like they're capable of producing? I've been holding off buying a new phone, thinking that Nokia must be ready to announce a new line-up. And we get this? Extremely disappointing. Nokia, if you aren't going to compete, start making toasters and microwaves.

From a Nokia fan - why are Nokia going backwards. Are they mad? Qwerty slide keyboard with a 2.4" screen and 2 MPixel camera. Surely no-one thinks this can compete these days. I am still waiting for the E90 replacement (the N97 is not even close) and I am now beginning to despair. Sadly, the Touch Pro2 suddenly looks even more attractive.

No 3mm audio-jack, No autofocus camera. :-( I like the beefy 1500 mAh battery-choice though. But that initself is not enough.

They should of put the transformers logo on the back cover and call it Megatron! US carrier's tastes suck!!! I wouldn't get caught dead with something like this...

I've Read All the Other People's Opinions And Also Agree With Them. NOKIA Can Do A Lot Better Than This. They Are Making 14 Phones/Second! But My Question to Them is That How Much Will It Sell Surge/Second?

2 megapixel camera, no wifi, small screen with 320 X 240 resolution, ugly phone, nokia is in the toilet, Go sonyericsson and blackberry they will defeat all.

Looks great! but one thing bugs me, no WLAN? and a 2mp cam? not even a flash? Geez, Nokia could have done better.
A slider qwerty with no WLAN, that's quite sad. I do hope this is just temporary specs.

Nokia copy Sony Ericsson, they add a name(Surge), like Sony Ericsson to the Satio, or Aino. About the design:is ugly!
