the goldfinger and moneypenny new WP8.1 phones are under progress . and i am sure that they will announce before 1320 releases in india and we may hope price decrease of 1320 bcoz , we all are familiar that moneypenny is a budget WP8.1 device which would create confusion between 1320 and moneypenny
so its been clear that we can hope for the price decrease and even get believed with what "Wp8 lvr" said you about 6%only vat and not more bigger taxes

Check out the international $ price... moreI m 1000% sure.. our indian government doesnt apply any imprort duty (tax) on smartphones n tablets.. So its 0%..
now 1$= Approx 63 inr.
now nokia's universal price of l1320 is $339= 21,357 inr. and vat on smartphone is 6% i.e. 1,280 inr.
so l1320 price+vat= 22,640 inr. got it.
u said about electronic items has 30% import duty but indian gov. seperates smartphones, tablets, computers n laptops from ths criteria n apply 0% imprort duty.
just google as 'smartphone import duty in india' u get ur answers. Dont forget indian smartphone market is very huge. coz of ths indian gov. give rejoice to tax n make it 0%..

Check out the international $ prices & price charged in India (in INR). Convert back the amount into $ & check out the difference between Indian price & international price. I am sure it will be much more. Normal import tax rate for electronic items in India is 30%.

FHD screen (although it's "only" a 5.7 inches one), a much more demanding OS, a quad core processor and an inferior battery but still manages to offer one hell of a battery life, the 1320 might be the smartphone with the best battery life ever! Finally!
I might be able to watch movies/tv shows/anime and read books/manga without worrying about running out of juice and, thanks to the ClearBlack technology, to do so even in the brightest sunny days! Now if only this phone had a better camera... The 1520 has an amazing one but it costs a lot more, plus it will probably have a great but worse battery life...

This is a very nice phone but it will probably launch in India and China first. So for Europe we have to wait longer I'm afraid. Q1 launch in India or China means probably end of Q2 launch here.

rs 21500 + 6% tax ($21) = between rs 22k to 23k

So it will be around INR 30K (approx). Not cheaper than that. Anyway, I am waiting for this handset & would be happy to buy around INR 25K. Anything cheaper than this is always welcome.

saw d big bt rarely small difference,1520 can play xvid divx and mkv format too bt the same 1320 cannot bad cons... n dey shud hv improved d camera too 5mp is kinda old despite of having ois and low light technology
