I am using this phone for a week. to this day, everything was very good. any Windows 8 user adapts to this phone that day. The picture quality is spectacular.

      It's. Really great to use , main thing it's battery backup is unbeatable compared to other smart phones

        android is much better than windows mobile. not user friendly. hardware configuration is good. even the basic file explorer is missing. I don't recommend this phone to any one.

            I am sorry but windows is very far behind from Android. hardware is good but the rest is regrettable. System configuration options are basic. I also have the problem with wi fi connection it seems it is not efficient and I lose connection often. So many things Microsoft must add or fix it seems thay are lagging behind

                          As technology evolves, Softwares become more and more heavy, Therefore a heavy processor and a better ram is required. For example, On my iPhone 4S, The iOS 7.0.4 runs slow compared to my iPhone 5S on which the same iOS runs butter smooth. I hope you understand the logic. There are limitations to which a hardware can run a software smoothly and that is to some extent. In the upcoming 3 Years even Lumia 1520 would be considered as a very old technology, But it would do better than the Lumia 1020. The camera of Lumia 1020 is no doubt far better than 1520, But look on the other side, What would you do if the same Lumia 1020 would take massive time to load the pictures or games or your Facebook app in the upcoming time when softwares become heavier and heavier. Think about it. The same 1520 will no doubt function smoother as it is capable of doing more than 1020 as per the specifications of the Processor and RAM. My advise is to go for Lumia 1520 or wait 3 years for the latest technology to come and then buy a phone ;).

                              Never buy such heavy phones. After a time you will piss off that. I bought lumia 920 and hate it because too heavy and my jacket pocket tear down. It is not comfortable. Now i bought Apple 5S and soo light device and elegant.

                                  Guys, I am confused between 1520 and 1020. 1020 is just dual core and 1520 is with latest processor. I do not play lot of games but need smooth user experience with good photos. I use mobile mainly for FB, whatsapp, music, movies and camera. Which will be good option with future 3 years updates?

However, if you are photo crazy go for lumia 1020 as its 41mp camera is indomitable in smartphone world.
