Though Lumia 1520 comes with the Black update. You might as well need to connect to the App store and update almost all of the apps to make them up to date. A nice thing which Lumia adopted i should say is that you can use the Weather Status Update as your Main Lock Screen Wallpaper which changes its color in accordance with the climatic conditions that your Lumia is updated with. After 1 day i have experienced a massive battery life. I am in Pakistan and we don't have 3G or 4G here, So used it on Edge and Wifi all day. From my experience with how heavily i used it in one day by making enormous calls and plenty of messaging i can vouch for it that it would easily stand active for at least 2 days even after massive heavy usage. I did read on Microsoft Forums about NOT TO ACTIVATE THE TAP TO SEND FUNCTION (BASICALLY USED TO SEND AND RECEIVE VIA NFC) AS IT CONSUMES BATTERY RAPIDLY. This function does have bugs which i did experience as well from yesterday till now. So i switched it off. I don't use NFC and don't like sharing data by Bluetooth, NFC ETC. Well, My own choice. Regarding the Graphics, The graphics are excellent so far. I owe an iPhone 5S, A HTC One and A Xperia Z1. I have personally checked in for the graphics. The graphics of iPhone 5S are way much real and better than Z1, HTC One or even Lumia 1520. Lumia 1520 is faster, efficient and has super fluid + responsive OS than all the other flagships i mentioned above. Another thing i experienced is the double tap to wake up feature which you may have to activate by going to to the settings. The saves your Lock/UnLock/Power ON/Power Off button from being pressed repeatedly. Just double tap on the screen and it will ask you to swipe up. You swipe up and its unlocked. The sound quality + ear piece + mic sound quality is excellent. The videos i recorded and the sounds i recorded were excellent in quality. I did check the noise cancellation feature. It works great. The Lumia 1520 regardless of its size is a master piece in my opinion. No serious cons experienced yet to be very honest. The build quality is great, The touch screen is perfect and it feels like a premium phone when holding it in hands. Well i also got a free back cover packed in the box with it which protects it from the back side and also covers the front as well. I have installed Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Skype, Viber (VIBER HAS BUGS THOUGH), Whatsapp, Line, Kik, Asphalt 8 and a few other apps. All work great. I love the experience of having a Lumia 1520 for my business along with my personal usage. I recommend Nokia Lumia 1520 to anyone without any doubts in mind. I've already got my Yellow Lumia 1520.. bought from KL on December 2013 ;)

They add more grippy feeling to the phone and the case raise a bit on the camera area so the the camera is protected a bit from being put on a table.

Just bought my Nokia Lumia 1520 5 Hours ago. Wanted to share my experience. It's a TO GO FOR thing. People posted lots about no File Manager. Please care to look in the App Store, You would find it very easily. Its has all the basic required apps like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, Nimbuzz, Skype, Viber, Whatsapp, Line, Kik Messenger and more. Those posting for games, It has all the up to date games. I am currently playing Asphalt 8 on it. The touch screen is as responsive as of the iPhone 5S i owe as well. The camera + flash result is outstanding. Have shot pictures in low light + extreme dark and the results were great. I don't find any one single thing to complain about. The batter timing, As i opened it from the box, The battery was 45 percent. After continuous usage its still there at 34 percent as i type after 5 hours. The sound quality + clarity is excellent. The processor a and the ram make it a beast. The OS is super fluid and super responsive + friendly. Those posting ridiculous stuff here must not be posting on the basis of experience. Why do people complain about apps, yes windows phone does not have much app but the other OS like IOS and Andriod that have so many apps 80% if not 90% of those apps are crap. I use Iphone5, i dont see the % of apps i use daily that windows phone does not have (viber, skype h&m,instagram, gmail,etc) I've heard lots of good things bout this phone, I'm going for it forget the NO MUCH APP thing.

1- for facebook messanger just download official facebook app from ms.
then go to messages n u get pin to start icon below in messages..
click on it ur facebook messanger comes to start screen..
coz here both facebook n facebook messanger combines in single app..
check it.
or
2- also facebook chat is already integrated in os in messaging hub..
just go to settings- emails+accounts.
add ur facebook acount n password ther..
n go to settings in messages hub n turn on fb chat.. done
now u can easily chat direct from ur messaging hub of phone.
according to tom warren in upcoming wp8.1 ms integrating whole facebook n tweeter in core of os.. so i think at that time we dont need to use any app for this.

I had the same problem and it got worst very quickly 2 days after I got the phone, I took the phone back to At&t store and was given the big runaround and excuses, they suggested that I take it to the Microsoft store which I did and my phone was replaced with a new one without delay. There after my phone has been working flawlessly. It's my daily camera, GPS, phone and tablet, I love this big phone, other than being stuck with At&t a company that I dislike very much by the way they operate, with a rubber baron mentality, nothing but trickery and hidden charges.
PS: Kudos to the Microsoft store personnel at the Miami Dadeland Mall store, they were very helpful cordial and very respectful, solving my problem on the spot, keep up the good work guys.

There I was treated very nicely by the Miami Dadeland Mall Microsoft Store and was given a new replacement without delay, something that I can not say about the At&t store that gave me the big run around. Other than At&t, which I hope never ever to have anything to do with company I'm very happy with this big phone that I use a camera, GPS, MP3 player and as a table.

I am using this for a month. It random reboots by itself. I had it changed and still sometimes keeps rebooting. It is a software problem, is anyone experiencing this situation. Email me if you can solve this bug. Hope an update coming up early. My email kunimorichan@gmail.com
