i know for sure that im getting this phone! i loved my n82 for its imaging and xenon. i had to replace it with the n86 coz it was getting slow and buggish and was dying a slow death! the n86 really struggled without xenon in terms of blurry photos at night eg in clubs. however the video was awesome and that 4x digital zoom was amazing when i was recording concerts and stuff because the quality didnt diminsh. now as i hoped and hoped and hoped, the n8 brings both together AND adds to it with bigger sensor and hd recording! my complete phone that alot of people were calling me crazy for wanting! i had belief in nokia to bring out a phone like this, and knew they could.
only problem is what colour to choose. i have black EVERYTHING. stick to grey or maybe try something different and go for silver???

Like the specs of this phone except the symbian OS and the slow CPU! I think it's a fail. Nokia should build at least one high end model with android OS...

people pls look at the soec page again, this phone support 3G covering all 5 bands, no phone have this much coverage

funny when pixon 12 and satio came out, people criticize pixel count on small sensor. Now nokia have a sensor rival those on dedicated digicams and people criticize on design and saying they copy from iphone---haters will always be haters. At a price of $500 USD, you can't even buy a good digicam AND a dirt cheap low end smartphone separately.

when i see a great phone, i usually buy two color variants of it (i have 2 E72s)...i think i'll buy the black & the white version of N8...will match my HP laptop (white) and my Toshiba laptop (black)...cheers!

At last a 12mp and 720p Nokia phone!
I think you did it a little late
but both(12mp & 720p VR)is really amazing together
But i saw symbian ^3 OS,what is it?
is it better than Android?

If you want a smartphone with fantastic hardware and software features go for nokia.
But if u care more about fashion and care less about what a phone offers as far as it is very expensive you can go for the iphone.
I can sense the jealousy in the posts of iphone and android fans.They wish this phone runs on their OS.
Like it or not Nokia is still the world leader.Its healthy to have an opposition,that's what keeps the vibe.

i like the looks of it too (though i feel it looks a bit like the Sidekick from T-mobile, just the look and the holding space both on the base and above the screen).. waiting for this phone. will certainly buy one.!

I know why many nokia hater said n8 copy from satio,becoz n8 has 12megapix camera,right?please don thinkin like a kid,open your mind,when nokia has12mpix mobilecamera it does'nt mean nokia was copy from satio,
just like some of SE fan said be fair,think wit our brain not from your heart ~cheers)
