Go nokia go! i am a nokia user since 15 years ago and im expecting that nokia rise on top again! u have the best hardware just bring on those missing user interface effects and enrich your ovi store with free interesting apps and u'll be on top just like in the old times!

From what I see, it seems the N8 needs a screw driver for its battery to come out, maybe the same applies for the microSD and/or the sim card.
There is one little star shaped screw on the lower part on each sides. They need to be removed from their position so that the battery slides out and/or the rest.
This seems to be a really strange situation as one needs to carry the screwdriver all the time. Also, those screws appear to be really tiny. What if they get loose and fall? Bad construction and design solution if I may add.
The rest is okay. Capacitive screen rocks, size very acceptable, processor, hardware, graphic accelerator, aluminum body all very good.
The N8 is definitely your M8!!!

Nokia N8 is not a copy of the Satio at all,the Satio is we below par with the N8,one speaker on it an not Stereo,no Equaliser,soon as the N8 is released it will be goodbye to my Satio i only bought this Sony Ericsson phone because the software on it was Symbian an same as the 5800 one but the camera better than the 5800,an Nokia have taken that long to release a Top Camera mobile,as Nokia let the N86 down with the screen size an speakers an there cheap way of producing mobile just upgrading the N85 to the N86,a very bad mistake made by Nokia

i think nokia should have used 1500mah battery in it so that it would have last longer on the other habd i will buy this on the very first it is released by nokia

i myself prefer nokia and samsung over other brands but hey thats just me.
on the note for n8, i cannot wait to get my hands on it, and for that price tag!...but at the same time, im a little upset because thats how much i paid for my n86 and i waited 3ish months after its release

Although Apple, HTC and Samsung have very strong alternatives, the free OVI 3.0 map, with pedestrian-option + the smooth way the digital compass works, makes the final deal for me. Im probably gonna choose Nokia N8.

for those who thinks nokia copies apple: photo gallery style is not made by apple it was made by kodak. design is like E-series. cover flow exsisted before iphone.
