Disappointing phone. Low ppi pixel density, low RAM, not a good enough processor & a weak battery.

So it can't make any phones in future. Secondly windows phone 8.1 which will land in spring. Completely redesigned os with many more functionalities and almost no limitations to compete with android. This is the strategy. X series is just a low end phone, it can't kill lumias. Nokia was never into android, not will be in future. If they want to develop android separately they would have gone with pure android with all Google support. Not to mention making forked android takes longer time and more work than usual process. So its baseless to think of a flagship android from nokia..

Maybe this is the technology in today's era of globalization, where trade and competition of technology are constantly evolving from new until new, for example at that time course also we know while nokia phone produce ( lumia type ) then finally Android, whereas quarter in 2008-2010 product of nokia symbian still be the star, did not know when-when there will be much mobile new again.

Elop clearly said at mwc that the x series will be the lower end phones, they will continue to focus primarily on Lumia. Lumias will remain as the flagship. The strategy behind the x series is to let people know about how lumias work and how they are better than android ( that's the only reason why its a forked android, they removed all Google services and replaced them with Microsoft's. Now as nokia is in Microsoft's hands their is certainly no hope for a high end android..
