Nougat-powered Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ gets WiFi certified

Himanshu, 28 February 2017

Seems like the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ is all set to get the Nougat update soon as an Android 7.0-powered model has been granted WiFi certification by the WiFi Alliance (WFA).

Samsung Turkey last week shared a detailed Nougat release roadmap revealing that the Galaxy S6 edge+ will get the update around mid-March. If that information is correct, other regions should also get the update around the same time.

And given that it has started collecting necessary certifications, looks like the update is on track.
