Huawei Mate 9 Pro review: The Magician

12 February 2017
Dreams do come true sometimes, and the Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a living, better working, proof of that. Huawei has unintentionally created an unsolvable dilemma during the Mate 9 announcement, only to present the solution nearly a month later.

zodiacfml, 12 Feb 2017I stopped reading once I saw the text "no expansion". at 128 GB, what expansion do you need ?

Another pathetic attempt from huawei to duplicate samsung flagships. Too bad they weren't able to copy the aspects that matter. Go back to oblivion, huawei. You belong there.

I thought It was wrong phone, its identical with S7 edge...

Metal case owners should be warned.
GPS will be drastically affected to the point of unusability when using Metal Cases.
This has been an issue since the P8 and Mate 7 but hasn't been resolved for the succeeding devices.

The low-light shots are really terrible. I was thinking about buying Mate 9, but after such disastrous low-light photos I am waiting for the 2017 flagships. I really wish the Huawei to make the low-lights shots better in the upcoming P10.

What is Huawei doing? almost everything is identical to the Samsung S6/7 edge. Not just the design of the phone but from the home screen and even the settings menu. For that size of a battery, the battery life is horrible.
