Mate 9 Pro (6+128gb), 17 Apr 2020Still using my Mate 9 Pro, really want a new phone... But T... moreagreed. I need my IR blaster. I've been seeking for about a year now, but has been hard to justify yet. could use expandable storage, a better camera, faster CPU, 5g, fresh UI, updated BT, wireless charging, and oh yeah maybe not a vendor on the US blacklist. well, today I finally cracked my screen down the middle. first drop that made an impact, after many other drops. so, now I'll be considering xiaomi options...

huawei mate 9 pro front camera is not so good, does not autofocus and pictures are blurred effect. anyone find it same ? the contrast of pic is pale too, pls give solution guys.

If you're looking for removable batteries, expandable storage and FM radio, you'll have to go for a feature phone. Phones don't have removable batteries anymore because making them non-removable will make the phone thinner .

Still using my Mate 9 Pro, really want a new phone... But This one just works as well as it did 2.5 years ago (a part from some moderate burn-in and a crack in the glass above the screen from a epic drop :) ) it's hard to justify replacing a working phone... I have had iPhones, Samsung, Sony and LG phones. This Huawei is hands down the best and most durable phone I have ever had. :)

Worst premium phone experience I had.
That curved screen is so annoying.
Fingerprint is crap.
no decent cases.
Terrible to hold due that IDIOTIC curved screen.

I'll never understand why they put all those limitations. No fm-radio, no upgradable memory, no replaceable battery, no water resistance not even a very basic one. A wonderful and very expensive device castrated in such a stupid way

If I have to choose between Samsung Note 7 and Huawei Mate 9 Pro? I'll choose Huawei Mate 9 Pro for personal use. But for work, Note 7 is outstanding by allow me to have 3 W.A, 3 LINE, 3 BBM, 3 Telegram, and all works simultaneously. But, 2 WA is okay for me :) I can work with 2 WA in a single phone :)
In my opinion, Huawei Mate 9 Pro brings you to a new level of using smartphone nowadays. This phone is awesome. It fix my broken heart when my Note 7 must be returned to Samsung. And the camera, I cannot describe it. Wonderful, marvelous, the craziest stuff you can find in a smartphone. The pro mode is one of the best feature you can get in this phone. Very wide range of options. And, you can store your capturing moments in RAW file so you can have wide options in editing your pictures.
End of words, you need to try this phone by yourself so you will know what I'm talking about :)

Copy samsung s6/s7? lol better you think first or ask samsung why that Mate 9 pro have a screen like s6/s7. Dont rise stupidity, it bad for your own future lol

And one very important thing to mention. Curved amoled screens are crazy expensive if you have to pay for replacement out of your pocket. You will have to pay at least 300 usd for replacement.
