Sharp Aquos S2 hands-on review

23 December 2017
It's not often we have a Sharp device with us for review. Primarily sold in East Asian markets, these devices are hard to come by elsewhere. So, when Sharp contacted us to review their mostly new AQUOS S2, we couldn't really say no.

It would have been interesting as a cheap Essential, but Essential's are pretty darn cheap now.

And removing the app drawer sucks. They did it on the Nextbit and that got replaced with Action Launcher pretty fast.

          bring it to the us...

Fromt camera is in that ugly cutout, there are no hardware navigation keys then why is that bottom bezel so big? Essential phone is better than this sad it didnt got reviewed

No top bezel and ugly camera cut out wont save last year sized bottom bezel. Such turn off, rest of specs, even if best in the world, does not matter. Wonder if they get it. Maybe thats why offer...?

"The main focus of the design is the screen-to-body ratio, which Sharp pegs at an impressive 87.5%."
                No, its around 80%
It cannot have bigger STBR than Essential phone

Somehow this review fills unfinished. Do it properly, if you will review a product then do it completely. Don't do it for the sake of doing it.
