David, 18 Jun 2023I'm not sure what this obsession of OLED is all about.... moreTFT's quality is why. It sucks. Poor viewing angles and bright, washed-out colours. Colour accuracy and brightness is also inferior. OLED is superior in all regards of quality.
In terms of durability you may be right, but in a world where phones are designed to be upgraded every 2 years, display lifespan doesn't really matter.
Even then, OLEDs can last long. The display on my old Galaxy S3 Mini is still going strong, no burn-in or anything visible. Same story with my YotaPhone (now that is some real eye candy).

Is 1+ Nord 5G good or bad ? OnePlus Nord is the best mid-range device, It has 5 hours of SOT on average.

Unbelievable how much phones have regressed because of corporate greed! How have we come to only have one camera on $300 phones? Like even macro cameras are now becoming hard to come by!
It's unbelievable to think that only three years ago budget phones came with up to four usable cameras: case in point being the former $250 Moto G8 Power. That one even had telephoto, and it cost less than this!
Screw today's phone companies and their greed. Asus, Sony and Redmagic (and a couple more) are the only ones who still care about making feature-packed phones that aren't made to be upgraded in two years. Everyone else is just no headphone jack, no SD card, no camera shills. And it's starting to creep into budget segment too.
Greed and e-waste...

In this segment US seems to have not enough competition and consumers suffer.

Poor US consumers! They have to settle with mediocre phones like this. In Europe and Asia this is e-waste
