The only thing i don't like so far is the curved design. If they make it flat in the final release, it would be a perfect new phone from Nokia :)

Can the Lock Screen be customized by adding specific notifications "widgets" such as:
              - Agenda/Calendar/Appointments
              - Missed calls (phones and contacts' names)
              - SMS/MMS (eventually list of messages' contents)
              - Weather
              - Facebook
              - Twitter

Facebook and twitter are intentionally separated ... not to confuse with notifications screen after "swiping" the lock screen or the applications screen.

It would be great if these widgets can be used as access keys to the applications "like" shortcuts by swiping (I know, it looks like the ios 5 lock screen notification)

Wow. Super impressive OS man. Dis shld hav been brought out immediately after Maemo. Wht hav Nokia been doin on it for so many days? Just to allow Android n iOS to take over?

Scrap WP7 and fire Elop n all others supporting WP7. Elop is purely trying to run business for MS.

More MeeGo phones Nokia. Please!!!! and Fast!!!

good hardware. nice os for ios and wp7 users, but not the best.
phone is good. but hardcore users used somting else. like android icecream on qualcomm msm8960 or tegra3.

This is another thing that upsets me...
Nokia easily create some of the best designed phones..
But their inability to adopt other platforms, has ultimately cost them their entire company...
Meego looks to be excellent, but it's already dead in the water...
Why couldn't they have created the N8 or N9 or any of the others using Android?
They could have easily put their Nokia skin / brand all over it like HTC and had a real contender out there...
Now all you have to look forward to is Windows Nokia - and the severe lack of customisation that comes with it...
                                    :(

Im proud of what Nokia been doing with the new platform. Unlike the other platform such as A***OID, A***e OS and from S*****g platform, Nokia prove to their consumer that they will get the best platform from the very beginning of production. Other os is just s*it because the OS need to be upgraded (and always) to get all of the application needed (but Nokia already got all of it in just one platform from the beginning)

                                      p/s: no offence. hehe
