Nokia 808 PureView in low-light: From dusk till dawn

20 June 2012
The fact that Nokia 808 PureView is the best cameraphone money can buy is sure as shooting. This won't even pass for a pun. The 41 megapixel sensor and the tack-sharp optics deliver what no other smartphone can match and we even saw it successfully stand its ground against much heavier competition.

My life would make more sense if I could just get a nokia lumia pureview running windows 8. Are you listening to me nokia? Screw quad core. Put pureview in a lumia and just take my money. Make sure that it does everything an old symbian can, atleast 16gb storage with expandable hotswap and great battery life and my money and support is yours forever

To think that 808 can be comparable to the very capable professional DSLRs. Nokia, well done.

I don't really understand why samsung GS3 appears in the camera compare tests. It is way back in the dark ages.

This will never replace a DSLR camera, of course. But if it is that good, I don't really see a reason for it not to replace casual digital cameras...

It's nice to see the 808 holds its ground even under low light. I didn't expect it to perform as good as this. As a smartphone it doesn't attract me much, but that sensor technology is nicely welcome.
