i've come across iphone5 and had a chance to operate it. i'd say it's quite a piece of stunning artwork packed with some cool features.
i'm using an sgs3 which i've found out to be the phone for my needs and uses. i'm not being anti-apple, however, having said that, i've to admit that apple products are as useful for your calling needs as a diamond-studded cellular phone.
of course, the elite would find an iphone similar to robert redford - pure pretty face with no acting skills at all! the sgs3 is more like sidney poitier - pure acting and expressiveness!!
apple iphones and pcs are way too costly for the middle-class while samsung has designed its products for each segment of the society.

Hey calm down, for me do not compare iphone 5 and samsung galaxy s3, ..like a human they are not the same talent or ability no need to compare the important thing is they exist..and they are both useful for us..if you are not contented of iphone 5 then buy a samsung galaxy s3.. :)

SII it is still for me . Just install Cyanogen Mod and don't bother with officials . However I always were tempted to buy a high capacity battery ... After S2 and iphone 4's generation the speed and smoothness settled to a stable pace and you wont get much upgrade with the new ones in real life ... The most technology that needs to advance now is the battery design ...

I like iphone 5 because the modrn technolgy that apple cpmpany has used in iphone 5 is amazing

Comparing both phones i would like to SAY , That IPHONE 5 is much better than GALaxy s3.
The Iphone screen is RETINA DISPLAY vs Super Amoled personal i think that Super Amoled from Samsung is worse because the color and clarity is not so clear like in IPHONE 5 , in Iphone 5 the White is White , in Samsung the White is White(safari), And the clarity of screen on Iphone is AMAZING .
the second thing is the power of fastest phone .
THe iphone is working much faster than galaxy s3, everything is faster on the iphone .
The touch screen is amazing on the iphone , camera even doesn't havec so many futures like GALAXY S3 , the camera on Iphone 5 is making much better photos .
The only think which i like on GALAXY is GOOGLE MAPS , is the BEST in the WORLD .
If Apple with Iphone 5 they will fix with maps the iphone it gonna be the best in the world .

Putting the two in the same sentence itself is a disgrace to Porsche (doesn't suffer with quality issues!). i do like the fact that you compared S3 to a GTR which for your info is a technological masterpiece (only a true petrol-head can understand that). i am an avid tech lover and own an S3 but still willing to listen to a rational data point. Childish rants such as the one you just portrayed is beyond discussion.

iphone stands no where near to samsung galaxy s3 n even s2.galaxy is very powerful device and with androis ios sucks.

I have an iPod touch 4 and a Galaxy3 and I find the difference between an iPod and my brothers iPhone moot. Even an iPod can be compared to the iPhone (which is so much expensive)and I know,I know, they are from the same family, but come on, isn't the iPhone supposed to be way better than an apparatus that should be focused to music and apps?; Only differences between them, you can make calls with the iPhone and have internet everywhere, that's it! That's why I don't find the iPhone a big deal. In my opinion a Galaxy 3 is a more complete phone. It improves really fast and it doesn't take so long to release an update. And what it's obvious, apple may have thousands of apps, but most of them are the same and so limited (without counting that in the Android market you can find so many apps free.)
That's all I have to say for now, cause i'm still discovering stuff about my phone in comparison to my brother's iPhone, of which I know everything cause it didn't change much from the iPod touch.

although galaxy s III has gain much popularity, but still iphone 5 is the real winner.. no doubt about it.. iphone 5 is a dream phone of almost everyone.. the real king of smart phones.. the proof.. samsung galaxy s III price has dropped already since release date .. but the iphone will keep it price unless a new iphone model comes out.. but galaxy S III is now reducing the price day by day...

No matter what happens with the reviews, the real winner here is Samsung. After all, it is Samsung built chipsets and screens that go into all iPhones.
