Its surprising people pay for poshness and then held to restrictions. No freedom.

I think sg3 is better cuz it has bigger display, open OS & longer battery life and about the internal hardware both sg3 and iphone 5 are equal.

Just got an iPhone 5
Very happy with it. Maps is not as bad as I thought and very happy with the camera and all round feel of the IOS(being that its much the same as the others)
Came back to iPhone after being on Android for two years so have given both a fair go.
In the end like the review says get what suits you best. Having an apple laptop it ment set up was painless. Also nice that I can download apps and they go straight to my laptop.
So the phone works well for me.

Iphone is like a Porsche 911 and Samsung SIII is like a Nissan GTR... It might be faster and in some ways better but it will NEVER be a Porsche.... and all Apple or Porsche haters are nothing but jealous small minded people because they can't afford that piece of ART so they start bashing it in all kinds of bullshitty ways with non interesting values or what so ever.. It is actually funny and at the same time sad to see people nagging and complaining about Apple with such hatered comments that it becomes so obvious that these people have personal issues more with themselfs rather then with Apple or with it's users...
iPhone is just here for 6 years and after introduction the other phone makers were not impressed by it, but within 2 to 3 years they were completely overrun by Apple IPhone.. so company's like Samsung and Google started to copy each and every single aspect of IPhone and now they are more or less on the same level .... How long is Samsung making cellphones now?
Again the choice is up to you .. iPhone is state of the art within a closed more or less problem free environment (iOS ) which works perfectly fine for most of its users whom want trouble free mobile communication / fun/ etc etc and Android / Samsung or other phone makers choose for an open system with Bluetooth import / USB connectors/ micro disk storage all video formats etc etc... With the risk of an OS that's getting infected by malware/ viruses / illegal skimming app's etc etc with possibility of an enormous slow phone or even freezing or what so ever... There are even infected web pages with very nasty links which completely reset Android / samsung models to factory standard... Black screen everything gone.... So the choise is the same as with pc's ... Choosing for an open so called free system were every idiotic hacker can mess with your personal data if you are not well informed/ protected for these mf's or a closed controlled system were Apple runs the rules with it's positive and negative sites ... BTW Googles also messes with our personal data and so is Facebook and Microsoft... And who else more...?
One last thing about the comparison of Porsche and Apple .. Porsche has also slowly evolved over the last 60 years from a tuned beetle through the 356 and from the first to the last 911.... it more or less had the same kind of shape with the "engin at the wrong end"...
But after all these years it became a perfect driving sportscar with great value for money...
The same goes for Apple... My 3GS works up till now perfectly fine and has never let me down in 3 years time... I don't nescesaraly need a new IPhone 5 but it's now more or less time to upgrade ... If I didn't had an IPhone and IPad I would definitely had chosen for the S3 since it looks also very nice and the hard- and software are perfectly fine with me ( I know how to protect myself to be sure not to get an infected Android system ..) , but IOS is so easy to use and so enormously steady I really have no intentions to swap...

samung: Designed for humans-Inspired by nature, using galaxy tab 7.0 p3100 and galaxy s1 i9000 i cant live without them love my gadgets thinking of buying s3 soon the white one.

When it comes to Iphone Bluetooth connectivity will always be an issue, because let's face it, we love sharing pics, vidz and music... With that function limited it kind of takes all the fun out of having the I5, Itunes doesn't always have everything you want

I have no problems with anything in the iphone 5, some of my friends have the galaxy 3 and it is still not that smooth as the iphone 5, and when it comes to wifi connection the iphone 5 is way better, it was tested here in denmark, were a person walked around in a apartment, with both phones connected to the internet on wifi, and the longer they walked away from the router, the galaxy 3 were loosing the connection, where the iphone was on top.

Hats off for gsm arena for the way they compare the products .
But still they have to be more transparent when it comes to display, aspect ratio, audio and video quality, and of course the platform .
Still it's way better than any other comparison sites or anything else that compares cell phones on their own.
I have both Samsung Galaxy S III and Apple iPhone 5 . Both are great rivals of each other
Still I raise my hand for Samsung Galaxy S III because of the bigger display and 3x4 keyboard and qwerty one too and of course for a battery life

The two phones are fantastic but I am a bit disappointed by the Apple for its failure to include java in the iphone 5's features.I like java to support my applications and downloads.

I prefer using Iphone 5 but love the battery life of the S3. Some reviews have put these phones on par with battery life but my S3 lasts way longer. I still prefer Iphone though.
