In a couple of months the optimus g pro will be obsolete because of galaxy note 3.

It promises to be a short-lived reign for the LG phablet, as the Note 3 is on it's way. If we base the Note 3 on the S4's specs and features (as the Note 2 was to the S3), it will trump the Optimus G Pro. Think, presently the Note 2's quad-core already trumps the Optimus G Pro on battery life, what more with dual quads (one for low power). And the S pen still can't be beaten, except by Samsung' own S4's new touch technology. I've also tried a host of standard and custom ROMs in the past, and once I tried the latest TouchWiz Nature UX, I just can't find any better front-end.

we cant say LG AS A winner when they launch the competative phone after 6 to 7 months later then galaxy note 2...cause naturally when phone will release after 6 month clearly it will have much updation in specs...........

There is nothing to compare - Galaxy Note II is in stores about half a year, and Optimus G Pro is still unavailable. The Note 3 will be ready, when G Pro hits the shelves!

This is why samsung is number one....it managed to stand its ground against a far superior spec'd optimus G pro which was released 8-9 months later
But gotta give LG credit to produce a good phone especially after the mess they created for themselves in the smartphone field.
even the optimus G when it was launched was the new king of android beating the galaxy S3....lack of jelly bean update was the only thing stopping it from taking the crown.now when jelly bean is releases for optimus G.....other phones have claimed the king of android title

I love the glowing home button on the g pro
I agree with s pen thing
But what the review forgot to mention is that you can actually buy the rubidium stylus from LG at a very affordable cost.
Also if you read the test of LG g pro you'll find that they provide an extra battery, with a separate charger

I'm betting my money on the Note 2.
After i had used 2 LG smartphones, both flagships, I told myself never to buy LG again. You will see, when Optimus G Pro 2 will come out they will forget all about G Pro users.
With LG , updates usually come, if they do, with a year(s) delay.

sorry but no digitizer pen, no go for me for a phone this size
i wouldn't buy a 5.5" phone if it doesn't have the pen to properly write/draw/annotate because that would be the only reason i would ever buy a fat @ss phone

how come the g pro outdid note2 in the camera comparison?
i tried the photo compare tool and g pro pictures turned out to be disgusting.. full of noise and fuzz note2 came out to be balanced
