Each time it gets better and previous Lcd's were not always so perfect either. Now the new Amoled is just a couple percent off....While still offering the Amoled advantage...And blacks. It is definitely a downgrade....a little longer on constant browsing.....not worth it

8MP sensor in the same space as the normal 13MP sensor means BETTER LOWLIGHT PICS á HTC ONE!! This is GREAT! I would call this an upgrade. 13MP on a phonecamera is too much for such a small sensor anyways :-D

The lcd isn't really a downgrade. Firstly you get better web browsing battery life. Next you get more accurate colours.
This is definitely the phone I want!

I might actually prefer this version over the original. The camera is not that big of a deal and my personal favorite color is orange lol. Besides it looks to have more better quality design than the original S4 and LCD tends to be more better for accurate colors and not oversaturating them. Still, this is just a personal preference thing.

8MP camera .... is ita mistake by GSMArena or is it really 8MP cam ... why would they do that when all other specs are matching with S4.
They should add some bright colors and also start making some aluminium body phones like HTC one.

While S4 Active is almost same in all the specifications except it has a 8MP camera vs a 13 MP in the original S4, Active will cost 1/4th less than the original one. Samsung should just think of pricing this GS4 Active right or else this won't be a success. A lot of people are now owning a GS4 so they should really be careful in pricing this one. I will understand Samsung's strategy more if Active was released first and it has a 13MP shooter and then produced another GS4 which is non-IP certified after and a downgraded 8MP camera then they could say that the reason of releasing a lil lower spec'd phone is because they wanna make an affordable GS4 version for some who can not afford their flagship device!
