Yes. My Nokia N8 is class 33 based GPRS and EDGE and N7100 and most of the android phones are only class 12 based GPRS and EDGE. Then you can imaging how the speed will be (in strong coverage areas).

Yes. The software called x-plore by lonely cat games. I have profile switching software in Symbian (including switching to flight mode). I also have call recording and screenshot app in my Symbian phone. I was using profile scheduler+ in my N7100 successfully (when it was running android 4.1.2) where it can even turn the phone to flight mode at scheduled time. But the shameless google stopped the control of flight mode by third party apps since 4.3 version. What do you say for this?. Do not talk about rooting here.

Your response regarding exit option is not satisfying.

If you do not care about battery backup, then buy a laptop, it will give only 3 to 4 hours of battery backup. Looks like you do not even need battery. I think most laptops work in AC adaptor even when battery is not there OR buy 2 or 3 external betteries and carry with your device all the time like carrying a feeding bottle for babies. Carry on with this foolish idea.

Can you point a single android phone that has xenon flash, carl zeiss lens and FM transmitter?. I agree that there is no option to control display brightness in Symbian. Despite of this, Symbian phones rock in battery backup.

Already I have ended Symbian and Nokia discussion with parbinder. I want to end with everyone. Do not make me argue in favour of Symbian here. Understood?.

AnonD-241009, 12 Mar 2014Plzzz reply to this.If you are buying the note 3 this late I would advise that you rather wait for note 4 as it is just around the corner. But if you can't wait then note 3 still rocks. Just don't update it to kitkat.

              Hi there im from malaysia..
Heres my comment after using almost a month this rose gold samsung note 3 N9005.

Battery- superb if 3500Mah but 3200Mah still worth. Watching HD movie for 1 and half hour battery just drain for 15%!!
Gaming- really smooth while playing MC4.
              Display-superb.
Spen-This was non comparable to others. Just awesome function.

Overall i love this sphone. Tks. Pls pray fir MH370. TQ

Android is an open platform. Companies like Sony got it themed it to look and behave in a certain way. It's all about customization. These companies locked their smartphones for their guarantees. You know this.

Of course certain apps are always on, for reasons of notifications, and the general users unlike us would bother tweaking to fetch less frequently or no notifications at all. You know this too.

I bother reading and trying my personal modifications to my device because I can understand how to. Getting it back to its original OS state is also easy. I use root-enabled apps like Greenify to automate the hibernation of constant waking apps to save battery. I bothered to know. Most people don't. I would think you also know how.

Did Symbian have apps that are currently popular in Android now that much more intuitive? That automate things for you in the background? Did you have stable and fast 3G/4G signals before?

You don't expect smartphone screens resolutions and make to stay the same as your Symbian era device, do you? Yes, all these translate to more power hungry operations. Do the math. You knows this.

I believe most of you in your region don't have stable LTE. I have unlimited LTE for my consumption to my heart's content, using up to 7GB in a day. What do you think my power consumption would be?

Then get yourself Nokia Android device. I would expect no miraculous jump in battery usage ratio compared to the current long battery stamina performing Android devices.

"Nokia" using Android as an OS is ironic when they and fans like you have been stubbornly denied it. And now you accepted it after "Nokia" experiments with it.

Nokia has died, and now should been known as its present buyer - Microsoft. I'd love to buy a Microsoft Surface like smartphone. I wouldn't mind a good battery backup.

That was for your praises of battery backups of Symbian and constantly calling the battery back up of N 7100 as the worst battery back up. I didn't said you are spamming or using duplicate N7100. No question of acceptance as I never denied that there is a problem with 4.4.2 regarding SD card access. Still I am good with it and facing no problem as I am using stock file browser My Files.

So you are coming to say that there is no file copy / move problem using built in file manager (my files) and the problem arises only when using 3rd party apps. Right?. Please co-ordinate with others and tell me if this issue has been solved* or not in the future.
