There are some sites and review claimed note 3 neo do have gorilla but some don't.
So the best way to avoid scratches is to paste a screen protector which is enough for me or paste a tempered glass which is more protective to the screen.

Just one more piece of advice from you... about the gorilla glass. Is the screen prone to scratches? And would the phone take a few falls... my hands are really slippery :)

I certainly recommend this Note 3 Neo, I really love it. Never hang for the phone but game apps sometimes hang due to its own app bugs but can be killed easily using home button without restart or remove battery. It will not crash the phone system.
Htc 816 is another brand of smartphone. I can't comment on that because I'm the user.
What you choose depends on your own desire. You like Samsung note or HTC appearance or its UI, all on your own decision.

Hi Note 3 Neo users! Need your help. I wish to buy this phone, but after reading the comments here, I have some doubts.
1. Does it have Gorilla glass protection?
2. Does it hang too often while taking pics?
3. What is the overall performance like...
4. And finally, sure it is better than desire 816??

I bought my a Samsung note 3 neo on 2014 September. I felt a low display brightness when compared with another note 3 neo. I got changed the display from service centre under warranty. But after that upper side on both back and front side of phone getting over heated while using. Pls let me know a anybody having this problem. What is the solution for the same.?

I buy my note 3 neo one month ago ... but there is a very tipical problem with it ... when ever a try to take several pics my phone got hang , and im not abel to do any thing .. it can not be restart by power button , i have to remove the battery to restart the phone , plz help me if any one have any solution for that

Phone hangs when i take photo ,then i have to remove the battery to reboot.
Camera shows and error saying "camera initialization failed " followed by hang.
Phone restarting apparently for no reason.
Phone switch off when charger is plugged in.
Phone hangs while playing games or using apps like FB or Maps
My phone is in Samsung service center from day 10 of my purchase till today

chandanpatel, 10 Nov 2014its really worst mobile as my experience... if some1 plans ... moreIn my case, that is just not true. After OTA update on 4.4.2, neo works just fine, without hangs or lags. I didn't find any bug jet. So, neo is good unit, but overpriced. I've bought mine with contract for about 150e.
PS If you have stock 4.3 android, ASAP update your phone and you will see difference.

There are also have more modes available to use.
