These companies cannot be trusted for updates... Taking the example of sony, Sony said that only the z series smartphones will get the updates but it started seeding on the T2 ultra and I believe on the C3 also... The T2 ultra got the update before the xperia Z...!! Coming on to samsung, the company said that the note 2 will get the update but lately it cancelled the update... Currently what's the status of the update I don't know... But I think, there are 60% chances for the note 3 neo, for not getting the update....

Samsung has a old strategy, it gives updates only to those phones which are either flagships ( the S4 ) or the phones which are latest in the market... I believe that the entire E series and the A series will get the lollipop update...!! The s4 which was launched in 2013 ( I guess) got the lollipop treatment but as the andriod M will arrive it will not get it... it will be struck on lollipop forever... The same will happen with the A & the E series...!!

See Samsung is a big name when it comes to mobile industry so if they told us that n3n will get the update then it's true but Samsung didn't tell us the time from the first place so I thnk we should wait...better be late than never..

One of the regions had confirmed that it will get the update and most of the sites have the information that it will get the update but the service centres say that most probably it won't get it because it is old enough and already got an update ( jellybean to kitkat)...
