Hi frns...
using galaxy y from last week.
working superb.....
but faced only one problem, m using airtel MO, browsers are getin conectn, application are working ok..
i tried by downloading opera, but same with opera also..
plz if anybody can help me out..
i want to use airtel only..
i tried with idea and other, they are working ok with browsers also...
plz get me sumthing...

[deleted post]I just bought this phone last wk..and it's battery life is very poor.I always charge it everyday.What i did is just lessen the display brightness of your phone and turn off also the sounds of keypads (i think sounds also uses battery) and always turn of 3g and wireless if not in use..and i think always clear active applications in task manager. My phone battery improves than having the factory setting before.

Nice specs especially the processor, but the processor is very powerful in this device that is why the phone consumes much of the battery power.

sony xperia x8 has android 1.6 & it is upgradable to only 2.1,internal memory is only 128mb...as it has 1.6os u can't store apps in ur sd card...if u compare Samsung y with x8,I will recomend u Samsung y coz it has 2.3 os nd better processor but it has few drawbacks like small screen,bad resolution(as small screen nd low resolution u will hav problem wrting msg),only 2mp cam,no gpu200(so u may find problem whle playing hd games)...now u decide which mobl to buy...if u can trust Micromax then there is beautiful mobl 4 7000 rupes...Micromax A70 with bigger screen,better resolution,5mp rear camera,front camera for video calling,android 2.2,gpu200 so ur gaming experience will be very beautiful...with a few drawbacks but negligible like no digital compus,poor fm(I don't listen fm in my mobl but headphone music quality is very good if u r using a good headphone),ok type wifi antenna...
I am using a70 and most of d a70 users are very much satisfied with its performance nd it is a highly recommended mobl...
now it is ur decision... :)

1) Light Weight
2) Good Responsive Touch Screen
3) Good Wifi and GPS Connectivity
4) Proxemity Sensor
5) Full Touch Panel
6) Andoir 2.3.5 Gingerbeard already installed
7) Good network reception strength
8) Live Wallpaper Support
9) Voice Search Available Enabling voice command while typing messages
Cons:
1) No flash support even flash player cant be installed
2) Screen size is a bit smaller with 3 inches
3) Screen resolution is not that good with 240*320
4) Battery is of 1200 Mah, Hence not that good battery backup
5) Installed RAM of 256 MB makes phone sluggish with more apllications installed
6) Memory card slot is inside the back cover
7) Camera is not that good
8) Poor Speaker Quality9) No fornt Camera
View: If one wishes to take the taste of android phones without spending much then they can go for this phone. But do not look for much features as cons are already mentioned above.
Overall phone is just an average device from samsung targeting the customers who are low on their budget.
People with a budget of rs7000 must surely go for it. It will live upto your expectations(Partially).
