It looks rather good, but... isn't it too feminine, I haven't tried it yet and my opinion is based just on few photos and the fact, that samsungs are mostly liked by women :) Anyway, does it record voice during a conversation? Thank you.

I'm able to play mp3 smaller than 400KB in my files - sounds menu

My X500 does not come with the mp3 player application, I think this is the reason why I am not able to play mp3 file on my phone.
Do any one of you able to play mp3 file?

good design but it would be better if it had a camera it would be one of the best phones if it was 3G

May be it purpose is just use mp3 as ringtone only, not to play all the song

I am not sure why there is problem with the mp3 songs. I have in total around 22 mp3 cropped songs (from 170K to 280K per tune /songs) for my ringtone and still have remaining 3M of memory.
I just tried my alarm as well as the bluetooth, all working wonderfully. Perhaps its finger problem and a little patience to know the product more.

What about this: It don't even have a mp3 player. I'm working in a gsm shop and sended them all back to samsung. Admin: please change the information about this phone on the site. NO MP 3 PLAYER!!!!!!!!

i dont get it what's the use of mp3 player with only 8mb of space? you can only put 2 songs at 128kbps haha looks good but a lil nonsense

I have used the X500 for 2 days. I am not able to connect the phone using samsung pc PIM and file manager 2.0 with blue tooth connection on my pc.Next unable to play mp3 and mmf file after downloading to the phone.
Other than the above 2 problems the phone work fine for me.

When I cose the phone in the external displey appears a clock and after a few seconds it disapear. What I have to do to keep the clock all the time on the displey?

I just realised there is no 2nd display on the front and also no USB connection as claimed in GSMareana. Other than what I had written, I am still pretty satisfied with this phone.

Hi there I think that it would be really stupid if you put A camera on the amsung x500 every phone these days hase one it's nice to be able to get a phone just like well for messaging and calling people There's no need to have a camera! plus it would reck the slim and sexy look of the samsung x500!

I have this phone for 6 days because i need a phone without a camera but with bluetooth. I found the phone can assign ring tone to groups and individual as well. Thats really nice but the memory can really be larger. The design is pretty and its easy to use. I also own a Motorola V3x and it has lots of memory to save my mp3 music. The screen is bright and image very clear. Its light and handy, dont feel difficult to sms. No complaints on Battery life. Can last 3 days running without stopping. Bluetooth also easy to communicate.
The disadvantage of this phone are: no infra red, memory small,no radio, MP3 used as ring tone but very small files only (

when you say "top", you mean it looks top or do you have it and talk out of experience?
Indeed, the ring+vibrate is a lack, but the alternation of it is not a bad thing either, I think...
I'm really considering to buy this phone, so please please please someone post a real review! :-)

all i cn say 2 samsung phone...
if there is a phone called "user friendly" then samsung is a users enemy... hard 2 use lyk sony ericsson!!!
