this is just crazy, they are just being stubborn trying to be different but failing every year. they dont want to spend to develop a proper software, lesser important camera, 1980's design, rubbish updates, physical fingerprint scanner still like a low end xiaomi. But somehow charges top tier flagship prices. Selling point is microsd card slot. That audacity.

A phone this expensive without a telephoto lens - this is just sad
Makes me to not want an upgrade
Another thing that boggles me is that it got 20g heavier and thicker than 5 II (probably a battery upgrade
Otherwise looks like a good phone (have experia 5 II)

SD card slot, headphone jack, better display, a better battery and very good cameras are good reasons to pick this over the S23. The only disadvantages are the software support (though I still think 2 years is OK given that most people change their phones in the 3 to 4 year cycle) and its launch price, though it should be a good deal if it was slashed.

The one compact phone that had a zoom lens & they decide to remove it completely... next years model needs to be better... dont buy this.. need to teach Sony a lesson

What is the primary factors that lead to a high endurance rating? For the Sony Xperia 5, I would think the 1080p display is the primarte contributor. What do you guys think?

I had Recently Purchased this phone.. Camera isnt Good that any... Instead Last year I had Purchased sony 5 IV is much better camera. Though 5 v says 48mp. nowhere match to sony 5 iv.

Asus no ... more Couse the X is still a very capable phone, despite being 7 years old, it was my daily too, till about a month ago when i bought 5ii, the x battery was still good (all day, with 10-25% left at the end of the day).
The reason why its not my main phone is, i could not here the phone ringing, i missed a lot of calls, the x is notorious for its weak speakers after the latest for that time software update, plus the bottom mic was to weak also, but i managed somehow with wired headphones with a microphone :D
