Cuz I have also a black spot a... moreHi Amandeep, Not exactly a spot.. whereever I touch in the LCD, i can see a spot, and then it dissapears automatically. and phone also works slow during this phase.I had a word with service center guys they told me to format and upgrade the set.

Hey Guys i brought this phone 2 days ago but cam quality is not good as expected and the wi-fi connection problem,Please help me how to improve wi-fi reception and cam quality?
Is there any patch/update to improve these?

hey guys.i heard lot more complain about xperia sp.touch issue,camera problem.wifi problem and lot more.
so im going to buy galaxy s3.i really love this phone.but afraid to buy bcz these problem.any suggestions???????

Whatever happened to the compass sensor? Will the lack of a compass sensor automatically make all compass apps unusable on this phone?

I admit battery drains a lot when playing games and browsing internet ,we can do nothing about it now .. It drains for the reason of performance while playing games (comes with adreno 320)
let us wait for the update on increasing battery time :-)
But be sure updating it at your local service centre... And if u can flash the ftf file with build number 12.0.a.1.284 (improves screen nd camera a lot )
Every android phone at this range does drain a lot while playing games and sp is no exception here....actually this is a lot better among its competitors,on par with s3

Bought my Xperia SP.... charged it fully... set the Stamina mode... and just 3 hours of use and 50% battery is consumed.... tell me why so much battery consumption for just the 3 hours with stamina mode on ???

Hey you should not speak so poor of SP . It seems you expect a xperia Z in your SP. The display you say - it has BE2 with 319ppi and a good sony display(I know that viewing angles are bit poor but that doesnt create any issue). How can it be very bad? And the processor its soc over there for you clocked at 1.7ghz in dual core assembled with adreno320. its one of the best possible combination u can expect. SP is one of the best phones from sony

My problem is....... when i took my phone to my hand with 100% of battery and starts playing games, internet browsing, playing some videos........ then the battery is draining 25% for 1hour of usage... and the back cover is heating up..... Some times touch is also not responding properly... will this issue recover with software update or i have to contact service center.....................??????????

I will tell everyone to buy xperia tx instead of xperia t,tl,v,z or sp. As it,s sony,s best smartphone if not trusted then read andriod authurity article.

And as you said - a promised upgrade also you have a large battery with one of the best gpu (adreno 320) to play modern games smoothly and easily

22nd,june,2013.i bought sony experia sp c5302 black.in univercell shop at nandyala, kurnool dt,andra pradesh.
camera is very very bad.
camera quality is very bad.
display is very bad.
only audio music is good.
design is good.
procces is normal.
camera purpose and display purpose don't purchase thise mobile.
