hey guys I finally got my Porsche design black berry p9983 and is awesome, I like it, and is so nice and elegant and the screen glass is like a precious stone that can't scratch I try with my car keys, and a nail. I don't know what is made off, I'm a blackberry guy I have the old 8700, that still works great with my AT&T. service and I have the bb classic, but the p9983 is graphite. is light, brite, and smooth with metal frame and the software is
10.3.2.2836 its the latest os release. I tested my with heavy videos up loads, down loads, 8mb. pictures up loads, and 16mb. pictures from my wife galaxy s6 active and I found almost no lag, the highest video upload, and down load from the gs6 active with no lag was a 720p the 1080p made it a little slow the biggest resolution picture message that I can send with no waiting was 8mp and the biggest picture message received with no lag to receive and view was 16mp from the sg6 active. so in essence my p9983 as old as it is can give my bb classic a run for the money but with more features like a better glass on the display, a removable battery, lighter and a nice graphite. the down side of the p9983 is finding a nice case for it like the outterbox or something similar.

I like this phone however I've noticed the specs are very similar to the BB q10....dies anyone know if the battery is the same as I've browsed around and cannot seem to buy a spare battery for the 9983 and worried about buying a such expensive item knowing no battery is available. Please help. Thanks

Ivy, 15 Nov 2016Please tell about the P'9983 the processor of the phone, do... morepicture quality is superb with zaphire lens, it rarely hangs but all in all is a beautiful phone BUT not so practical as apple or android although blackberry software is so beautiful to operate.

Whatsapp is 100% compatible. Although whatsapp say no. You only use logic.
