After unsuccessfully following several of their recommendations including a factory restore (what a hassle), they agreed to send me a new SIM card. That did the trick. Fast forward to the present...the same problem is recurring. Interestingly my wife has the identical phone and she's not having any problems. So I have to think the problems is either organic to my phone or possibly due to an app.

i have used my huawei u8800 for about six months now, i always have problems with memory cards. It gives me feedback like memory card blank, unsupported format, damaged etc. Meanwhile these are all new memory cards i buy and use but at some point in time the phone gives me those messages aforementioned.

I love it great phone so far my major concern is my whatsapp wont connect and my wifi detects but wont connect either. Pls I a missing out on whatsapp what can I do to connect.I've been to my service provider and back they say its fine.huawei tell me what to do with m APN Setting.

very good phone...
can be used with any android OS
from 2.2 to 4.3
u can upgrade this phone unofficially, it has its own xda page you can get all you want for this device.
although huawei doesn't support this it works very good.

pls go to huawie main site.click the suport option.then select u8800 model number.then there has an jelly bean version was there.download it.that software size was about 365MB.then follow the intruction as in the downloaded content........
