@robbo95...lamer...symbian buggy??? on what world u live in??? have u tested a smartphone from nokia, i think not, blame the developers wannabes from were u have the software because there apps are buggy not the os, try to install good apps and u will so NO BUGGS...btw n96 1 year old??? come on from feb 2008 till oct 2008 1 year??? nice math dude...have u skipped 1st grade???

I believe Vga recording at 30fps will be as good as with the 5 mpx of N95 or N85 bcause even if it has only 3 Mpx camera it is far enough for vga (=0.3 Mpx) recording. But of course photos won't be as good.

Iphone doesnt even have bluetooth or mms. Whats the point of trying to implement good technology and ignoring the most basic. All apple did was take their ipod touch and give it poor calling capabilities, very limited messaging capabilities and a pathetic camera. Furthermore, they had a chance to fix those crazy problems with the iphone 3g, but they chose not to. Iphone was just overhyped and in true sense it isnt really great. And if that wasnt enough, its price tag was inexcusably high. Why do you think it got such bad reviews on so many websites?
When it comes to 5800xm, Nokia have taken care of all the basics and implemented a vast heap of technology. This phone is much better in almost all ways and has what it takes to kill iphone and with such a tempting price, iphone is in for trouble, if not certain death.
This phone has managed to drive attention away from iphone/iphone 3g, innov8, n-series, e-series and many other great devices. They are all in trouble now.
I wonder if nokia will have enough units to sell, because this thing will sell like hot cakes.

I went here to see if I could learn stuff about this phone. Instead, I see a lot of Nokia fans dissing the iphone instead.
I really don't think that this phone is better than the iphone. First of all, it uses resistive touch rather than capacitive like the iphone. Meaning, it would not be as responsive to your fingers as the iphone is, and it won't be as accurate either. Meaning, you will be using its stylus a lot. I don't know about the screen form either. It's too stretched. Also, the screen is made of plastic, not glass, so with the use of stylus, I can tell that it would be filled with scratches in a week of using it. I still think that it's a cool phone, but I just hope that Nokia fans would stop dissing the iphone because really, I can already tell that it won't be as awesome as the iphone =)

looks great,specs read great,battery seems good so does screen.The guy in the video is probably not working for Nokia anymore,he does a double touch computer like,really hard pressing,then only one touch,so is touch screen non responsive or the guy learns as he goes,wich seems more likely. I'd like a full review on this new platform though.is it new music chip ?how do touch screen fare after a few falls ?The new Iphone 3G is crap people,sorry Apple fans,don't buy it,as sofwares disapear from it ,sound through cans are to cry and i put Bose cans on it ,battery gets so hot makes my skin red.So yes,could be interested in this one.
