bear in mind the windows phone like symbian doesn't require too much processing power due to its balance hardware and os not like android. if Lucia 610 runs on android then it requires least 1Hz of processor and least 512mb ram. do you ever think that ics upgrade to android can run at 800 mhz with only 256 ram, i think it will not.

Galaxy y is n0t better than lumia 610 becuz! 33% apps can play fr0m andriod market! And small very p0or and ugly camera! N0t hd cam!Mhard to type!
Lumia is better than galaxy becuse! 3.7 touch screen! Can play ALL APPS IN WIND0WS MARKET! 5mp cam. HD VIDE0 RECORD! Easy to type! Nfc in the other lumia 610 nfc.

On android market i find really only one voice navigation for free - "satnav", where you can find POI without internet conection.

Just bought this phone for 10500 pesos. It's a good starter windows phone. It stutters sometimes but still very usable.

when it comes to high end smartphones, probably android and apple have a slight edge as compared to the lumia range due to their longer presence in the market. But when we are considering a mid range device like this one, windows sure has an edge over android. They give better hardware and more features at the price. Android on the other hand does a lot of cutting corners in their lower devices. Galaxy y for eg has a pathetic resolution and only 33 percent apps work on it

Samsung galaxy y is better then this lumia 610 which has 832mhz cpu 290mb ram and much more features like android the biggest os for mobiles and tablets / windows is only rocks on pcS Big thing is about price android sells cheap and needful devices....
