Still sleeping no front camera amoled display no silverlight or flash support on web browser also no xvid or divx video support need to improve a lot

Design is very nice.. But windows phone doesn't suite for low end. The price of this piece is bit higher than current price of the lumia 710 which has very high end specification than lumia 610.
720p video, 1.4ghz, 512ram. Also its OS functionality is more & application supported is more..
The revealed price is 190gbp before tax. 228gbp after tax. That is totally unimpressive.
Symbian is perfect for mid range & low end with full set of features.. Only the s/w segment must get improve a lot.

If u want to gud phone then going to motorola pro+ its have adobe 10.1 with cap touch.. Andrd 2.3 ..5meg cam with auto fcs geotag..big battery with touch 3.1 nd type quwetry

AnonD-5160, 04 Apr 2012Right..but in these days,the avg life of a phone is 8-12 mo... moreTaking your words into account i want lumia 610 to be at least to that level where i don't get bored with its features and up to 8 months n i will remain a strong competitor of my android friends...as the mobile tech is growing at so faster rate...i'l feel blessed if i remain with lumia up to 8 months...n yes i battery n audio quality of 710 is not upto the mark n personally i feel 610 is more stylish than 710 also u should never people for samsung WP cz dey r having a prob in receiving updates from microsoft...as microsoft is wid nokia,so nokia is d one who will receive d updates first...thanx for giving a smile on my face by reminding me the nokia's pricing tendency......yes after a month its price will definitely fall up to 1 to 1.5k.

but lumia 610 is also quite impressive but i thought like lumia 800 and 710 had down 20% price within month i hope its price will also will drop. hope so.

AnonD-19220, 04 Apr 2012Thanx buddy...if that much RAM is enough for wp to work smo... moreRight..but in these days,the avg life of a phone is 8-12 months.If you need a futre proof phone,i think you need to spend a lot more.only the flagship(25-35k) models are future proof for upto say 1.5-2.5 years.But in wp we get almost the same config as the flagship model at 15k itself if cpu and RAM are concerned..So i would advice you to buy a lumia 710 or samsung omnia W if you cant afford lumia 800 or the upcoming 900.They are relatively more future proof than mobiles from other OSs at that price range.And lastly i predict the price of 610 to come down immediately to say 10k after release.Nokia has a history of very high pricings initially..cheers!

AnonD-5160, 03 Apr 2012Good views..But i dont agree on the RAM front though.WP wit... moreThanx buddy...if that much RAM is enough for wp to work smoothly than i won't mind but the thing is,if you love a thing you want it to be with you for a longer time and in that respect i want 610 to be future proof.n no m not at all comparing it with galaxy Y...simply i don't like android that much i bought a galaxy pop s5570 and within 18 days i was feeling bored i tried to resell it...i need a phone which can engage me...i saw lumia 800 i simply loved d interface of wp7.5...i m not mentioning about FFC cz its really a personal choice n yes it is a pride point too...i want a windows ph feel...i want Windows+nokia to become a status symbol for ppl,lyk BB...BB OS has nothing in comparison to WP 7.5 but ppl buy them just for their status,i want nokia WP there...technically something more can b added like support for various formats of video...i know in dis price range no HD recordng cant be provided but atleast HD movies can be played if somebody really want to enjoy 3.7" screen.and some kind of sound enhancement should be there(dolby mobile or SRS)cz i have seen nokia ph having a low sound quality in comparison to SE and Samsung...

AnonD-19220, 03 Apr 2012I like the phone and planning to buy dis...but few things r... moreGood views..But i dont agree on the RAM front though.WP with 256mb RAM can match the performance of an android with 512MB RAM if not better.And altho FFC is a personal choice,i wonder who actually uses it,especially in india considering that 3g plans are very costly and also the 3g network is unreliable.It sucks.So the FFC eventually remains as a pride point to show off to other people in my opinion..Having said that,if you insist you need it,im not gona argue with that.Preferences change from person to person and i respect that.And lastly comparing glaxy y with 610 is not constructive at all.610 provides many more premium features like a bigger hi-res screen,high-res camera etc.There is no android in this price(in india) which can match the 610 except in CPU n RAM(but WP doesnt require that much hardware to run smoothly)...Cheers!

I like the phone and planning to buy dis...but few things r pulling me back the RAM(at least 384),gprs(shud be class 32 atleast),and front cam,n battry plz make these things possible...n i saw someone said dat no other cmopany is providing a sec cam in low range phones...my dear its a mid range ph(cost 11-12k Rs in India) n if samsung would thought d same way then galaxy y woldnt b released because no othr leading company at dat tym was providing android 2.3 at such a cheap price tag...so nokia stop following wat othrs do...take a risk as u did wid windows n i appreciate it...cz d result of nokia+microsoft is lovable...i love win 7.5 devices n u should promise ur customers to upgrade dem to win8 cz d devices r bit expensive...!!!

Improve gprs please bcz the countries like India have xpensive 3g plans ppl seldom use 3g lyk for downloading big data or video calls so its better to work on gprs...

not even samsung galaxy y and as windows phone os is a new free independent platform of development, it is natural that it wont support java.

Lumia is great telephone. and for sure its going in right way. no shit symbian but better os. it will be good opponent for android and probably will win :)
