vivo X100 Pro price in Europe revealed

Vlad, 30 January 2024

vivo's very slow international rollout of its X100 Pro flagship smartphone continues. This phone was announced for China in November, where it promptly launched that same month, then it made its global debut in mid-December, then it launched in India earlier this month.

And now it's finally almost available in Europe. but only barely. Early reports suggest the phone will be stocked only in two markets for now - Austria and the Czech Republic.

The X100 Pro is still not listed on vivo's regional websites, but the company did announce the pricing at least. The X100 Pro will go for €1,199.

It's a competitive product and probably one of the best cameraphones to come out in the H2 2023, but still, this price sounds a bit more than some may have been hoping for, considering that its Indian price translates into €999. but sadly, those are the weird ways of how VAT, logistics and international pricing work, unfortunately.

The X100 Pro comes in just one version, with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, so it's definitely well equipped - especially when you factor in the all-big-core CPU of its Dimensity 9300 chipset.

The phone has a 6.78-inch 1260x2800 120 Hz LTPO AMOLED screen with 3,000-nit peak brightness, a triple rear camera system (50 MP main with OIS, 50 MP ultrawide with autofocus, 50 MP 4.3x optical zoom periscope with OIS), and a 5,400 mAh battery with support for 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. It runs Android 14 with vivo's Funtouch 14 on top.

ROG 8 only got a 1080p screen, and the camera settings are not that great, compared to not merely Pro's but the standard X100. Also, while ROG is a phone for gaming, they are similar in gaming performance, both quite good.
