$299 price for Nexus 5X in US now permanent, Google confirms

Himanshu, 27 January, 2016

Update: The gold color variant of the Huawei-made Google Nexus 6P has also received a $50 official price cut.

Just a couple of weeks after Google slashed the price of its LG-made Nexus 5X smartphone in the US by $30, the device has received another official price cut in the country, bringing the total discount to $50.

For those doing the math, the handset can now be purchased for $299 - that's the price for the 16GB model, obviously. Similarly, those looking to buy the 32GB variant will now have to shell out $349.

Meanwhile, there's another deal going on for the Nexus 5X (we already told you about it yesterday), allowing you to purchase the phone at the same rate as it is being officially sold now, plus you also get a $20 Visa gift card with each purchase.

Buddy even iPhone prices should not be above $300(unlocked without contract). Still prices are insanely high and people are buying just like there are buying expensive android phones.
