I brought my iconia tab 10 A3-A40 home from Argos UK in cheltenham today and also had a 64GB micro SD card ready for immediate memory expansion. After gently pulling the brassy cover loose, and with the screen facing away from me, I saw the small screw to the left and the micro HDMI socket to the right of a micro SD card sized depression. in the middle. It looked like you had to remove the small screw and a masking plastic (not rubber) strip to get access to the slot. You certainly cannot insert a micro SD card into the shallow depression. I couldn't prise the masking plate away to reveal the SD card slot - if it is a masking plate. The manual is, of course, absolutely no use at all. I don't think my tablet actually has a slot for an SD card at all - if so then I will return it to Argos tomorrow as all the documentation and the blurb on the Argos web site is quite explicit that the tablet accepts a micro SD card - and it was a significant factor in my decision to buy the tablet.
I am very disappointed with the lack of clear instructions from Acer.
Anyone else having such a problem?

Acer did a really good job hiding it :P Anyway, i hope this tablet gets Nougat 7.0 treatment sooner than later :)

Suppose to be a micro SD slot,mine is sealed with a piece of rubber with a screw, took out screw and tried to lift cover there is not a SD slot underneath, though it was sold to me that it had one, there is a HDMI slot and the SD slot is supposed to be right next to it. Manual also states that it has one. Does anyone else have the same problem?

Its wifi only, no 3g or 4g. Its really just a budget tablet, costs under 100 in cash converters.
