      I have used multiple phones. Tmobile Wing, HTC G1, TMobile My Touch 4G and HTC One.

      I got this phone as a a loaner phone from tmobile and it is pathetic. It constantly freezes and is extremely slow. It is best used for calling and reading text. It camera does not do well either it is always out of focus and needs lots of light.

        I have this phone 1 week. This is my first android. The phone works fine. My main concern is that the manual for directions to do certain functions is not very clear. I've tried to set certain ringtones for friends and family and it's not working and I can't seem to find any info for my phone online. The camera will lighten up if you adjust the colors on it. I took some pictures and they came out beautiful but I'm having a problem with the crop.How do you shrink a photo to fit the screen? For the price this phone has a lot of features that the more expensive phones have but you can't beat the price.....

          I don't understand the lock-ups. I've used this phone heavily for 2 weeks, and no such bad luck. Maybe I just got a good copy. Battery run-time has improved, I guess from the "break-in" period. Call quality is better than reviews suggest. By the way -- I called tech support with a question, today -- fantastic!! They answered on the third ring, understood English, were very courteous, and answered every concern on the bullseye. I'm not quite ready to pound the table, but things are looking good.

            Absolute garbage. This is BY FAR the worst device I've ever owned. I got it from TMobile off the jump program. I had the Xperia Z1s and didn't care for it, so I was using my old HTC 8x. I decided to get out of paying $600 for a phone I didn't care for, I'd jump to their cheapest "Smart" phone and so I got this. A couple months later, I drop and shatter the 8x so I had to use this. I can't say one positive thing about this phone. It's beyond slow. It can't perform even the most basic functions without locking up entirely. Maps/Directions do not work, it wouldn't even pair with my Corporate Exchange server, had to download Touchdown. What a joke.

                Battery is a fast drain, for sure. Display is very nice. This is my first smart phone, and I'm a light user. $29.99 at Walmart, so not much room to complain. In a year, I'll re-visit with the hope that T-mobile has better choices.

                  I got this phone after my Nexus 4 broke and YES it was a downgrade and i could feel the sluggish performance but for the price you cant go wrong. As long as you keep the # of apps limited and use less RAM dependent apps, this phone will surprise you, I've even come to like it! My first phone Android was the Samsung Galaxy Prevail, so i know what bad performance is like and how to deal with it. Also, i do like the display on this phone, its rather sharp. Design wise the soft touch back is great and the phone fits perfect in the hand. Call quality is great, and the phone has many features i never would've thought a phone for its price or size would have. All in all, never sleep on the underdog

                    I have had that phone for almost a month and it is excellent for my need. I can used it internationally and change SIM card easily. It works perfectly for all my needs. I can load a dozen of necessary APPS that work fine. Battery time is great and phone calls are perfect for me. I have GPS ,Weather, News, Gmail. The only problem I see is:...it does not cook or make my bed which I think is very important for a lot of nerds. The price is very cheap $30.00 at wall Mart!! versus $700.00 for a Samsung ... Well perhaps the Samsung would make my Bed?

                      First and foremost, if you are looking for a budget phone for under $150, don't touch this thing. Currently, the Moto E would be a much better option. That being said, I'm going to explain why I own this thing.

                      So I got this phone for fun. No really, it was on sale for $30. I'm going to use the Roccat Power-Grid with this to use it as a remote for my PC, and as an mp3 player. Maybe as a backup incase something goes wrong with my own phone.

                      Honestly, I mostly got it as a $30 android device that I can just play around with. Now if there's a fishy app that I'm afraid has push notifications that might bother me? I use the alcatel as a test subject!

                      Is it worth $30? As a toy, I'd say yes. I would not say this is a "good" smartphone... it's a dumb smartphone. It's a toy. Not meant for real-world use.

                          It is not a cortex A9 but a Cortex A7 other than that I don't see any mistakes. Also yes it is a slow phone with only one core and lackluster ram by today's standards, but you must take into consideration what market this phone is aimed towards. I have one. it was given to me. I have rooted it and removed all of the Metro crippleware and it does what it is intended to. It lags a bit here and there but it is a PHONE.

                            Ok everyone that hates the Evolve. Seriously people it's a cell phone. It don't need everything on it to call, text or use the camera and video camera. PLEASE STOP ACTING LIKE A CELL PHONE HAS A BRAIN!!! Us US citizens have the brains, atleast some of us do and THIS US citizen LIKES AND USES the EVOLVE every day and DON'T have a problem with it BUT I ALSO HAVE A BRAIN AND I USE THAT MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE, ESPECIALLY A CELL PHONE!! Sorry for screaming in this comment. I just get tired of people that have brains that GOD gave them making excuses for why they don't use those brains to figure out they need their brains FIRST before any items to have common sense, using their minds, thinking first also, actually using an item more than once or for a week or two before complaining and just using those brains that supposedly hold your head up! Sorry but i'm an OLD SCHOOL chic that graduated from High School AND college and if i can use this cell phone and like it, ANYONE can! That's all i gotta say/type BUT don't act like children after reading MY OPINION ON THE ONE TOUCH EVOLVE. This is MY OPINION only just like everyone else I have an opinion and since i use my cell phone every day and have for atleast a month, i feel i can type just like everyone else and put my review and my hands on experience for anyone to read.                               I have the one touch fierce which is also garbage. Alcatel NEEDS to drop out of the smartphone industry so that MY HEADACHE will go away. I've never realized any company is so lazy in its efforts to create a product. Alcatel, get your lazy butts working or don't sell your trash.

                                I can tell you right now. DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE! THIS THING IS A TOTAL PIECE OF SHIT! Ok enough with the all caps. It's battery life is horrible, the processor and ram are deplorable and the camera is shit. It lags every second and I'd rather have a flip phone than this piece of shit! I can't wait to run this bitch over with a car!

                                  The battery life sucks as well as the camera. The front facing camera doesn't even show anything its too dark. I would not wish this device on my worst enemy.

                                      I've used this phone for weeks. Camera is too dark and the battery runs out quickly even at lowest brightness and many other services and features disabled.
