bad camera, specially at night, vga quality photos with all eyes lit white because of the flash, fast phone, but sadly even if the specs is good for lollipop, manufacturer have no plans for an update

Hi guys... I just bought this phone from Lazada. I noticed that I'm not getting LTE connection even when I'm in LTE coverage area. Already activated the LTE service from my service provider. Still couldn't get LTE connection. My service provider is using LTE band 2600 MHz and this phone supported that kind of band as mentioned in Alcatel Flash Plus spec. Please anyone help me...

It has great camera 13 MP dude and it is OTG capable..

I don't think they will update the flash plus to lollipop and us users will be stuck with kitkat. So disappointing. First, i bought the alcatel idol 2 years ago, they did not update the OS and i was stuck with jellybean until i sold the phone early this year. I was hoping things would be different this time, but i guess i was wrong, same old alcatel will leave users hanging in the air with outdated OS. Such a shame, because i really think this is a good phone. But this will be the last time i will buy an alcatel phone that's for sure.

If your buying this phone for its camera then you'll just be disappointed. Both front and back camera really sucks. Second, it has no OS update so you'll be stuck with kitkat for a while unless if you'll root the phone. Third, it is not otg capable. On the other hand this phone has a nice, maybe desirable display and sound quality in both the loud speaker and earpiece is good, maybe even great for a normal listener. So far, heavy gaming apps run smoothly with this phone. No lags. Overall, for an average user, it is still a great phone considering its price.

At first I thought having this phone might erase my disappointment with ALCATEL, because this brand is known for abondoning their products, and my fear is right it was really true that ALCATEL did abandoned this crap,end user suffers the most, even flagships of this brand rarely have an OS update, buying this crap will leave you stuck in old fashion OS, why do this brand really always abondoning their end users, many of fools from indonesia, thailandvietnam, philippine, india still buying this junk but did not know that they were received by this company, they are still hoping that ALCATEL will give them OS update, well it seems that you hopes are long gone, ALCATEL wont give you a damn concern about your updates, ALCATEL already gained when you buy their rebranded phone from TCL, they gain you lose, as for this I swear I will not buy any of ALCATEL products evet again...And I feel sorry for those who bought this ALCATEL FLASH PLUS mostly in asian region, if I were you never patronize a brand who always abandoned their products

It is stock on kitkat 4.4.4, no more update meaning you are stock on oldie pgone while other enjoys having new stock OS like Lollipop and Marshmallow on their device...if I were you you should buy phone which known that never abandon their rpoducts...and for the record this junk is china's local phone TCL rebranded stock with LEWA os

Just have this phone today. Very good and impressive compare to Lenovo p70. Camera very good. System also good. Body thin and build quality also very good

Worth it? According to the specs and price, it's definately worth it.
According to the posts, both good and bad, you WILL BE testing your luck in trying to get this phone AND avoiding the other version.
Myself and others caught some pretty decent luck. Got the Normal Version and as of yet, either had no problems or some problems that could be easily fixed. Others.... not so much on the luck. They got the other version. The "Insta-Broken_XL_POS10000" is the version others ended up with.
