I need the official MM but Alcatel won't bother to release it for Nordic countries, ffs! Never Alcatel again, those Chinese companies don't care about Northern Europe region!

I am gettin back to Android after having suffered for 1 year the windows phone scum. To my surprise the phone has enchanted me, in Argentina I got it very cheap and is really simple, thin and very fast, with a decent camera and excellent sound, and includes headphones. Recommended.

Not too big and lightweight which is hard to find today. But unfortunately not good - bad signal reception, bad audio call quality and poor battery life.

I've recently noticed there is album cover issue with Mix music app... ...before that every album cover was shown properly but now only couple of album covers are shown and majority are all empty. I wonder why this happened?!? I'm still on 5.0.2 so i hope that when/if 6.0.1 shows up finally, this album cover issue will be gone. But have you guys any idea what's causing this issue and is there a easy fix?

I've had this phone for one and a half years and decided that I would finally - hopefully not too late for the brand or the phone - make an effort to say how great it is. Yes, there is, per another review, a small issue with hearing people on a phone call; that is, the volume could be louder. But otherwise, it's an awesome phone. Speaker phone mode is great (plenty loud and very good quality; I listen to music and podcasts on it in my no-blue tooth-equipped car). Never had a problem with it despite it being on 24/7. Love the phone, and great value.

Mariamworks , 08 Nov 2016Mobile upgrade tool won't suggest mm upgrade in every count... moreThat's true and it will also reinstall latest Android version without warning... ...it did clean install 5.0.2 couple of weeks ago when i checked if MM is available... ...can i just check for new updates using this tool without it starting to reinstall 5.0.2? Because i don't want to set up my Idol 3 again and download/update apps all over again :/

It will suggest the installation of Mashmallow on the Idol 3, whatever your country is.

Anonymous, 20 Oct 2016Sorry but does anyone have problems with the microphone. Wh... moreJust got Alcatel One Touch Idol 3 4.7 from 02 in (used) perfect condition for £29.99.
Ordered on 20th October, arrived on 21st October.. great. Only problem is call quality. You can barely hear what the other person is say. You have to but the speaker phone or hand free kit. Even then for some reason at times you can’t hear anything.
Called 02, they will be sending me a replacement handset on Monday. Hopefully that shouldn’t have any problems.
While watching movies, you tube videos, playing games the speakers work fine. In fact they are so loud you have to turn down.
