How much ram has Idol 3 4.7.
I ask because the seller at the store told me that is only 1gb ram with 8gb internal memory.
Model is 6039y.
Can someone confirm for sure??

Great smartphone, the sound of the speakers it's awesome, my girlfriend own's a Huawei P8 and doesn't compare with the Idol 3, the size it's just perfect to use it with one hand, but not to small to enjoy a good video. The camera is better than other smartphones and it has a Sony sensor by the way, it takes great pictures and very fast. I really recommended it

Need help...After update on 6.0.1 I have no more option in Contacts app to import/export contacts from/to SIM card. Before update it worked well.
Anyone facing same issue? Looking forward your posts...

I'm from Bolivia (Latinoamérica). I'm still waiting for Android 6 update for my Alcatel Idol 3 4.7. Do you have any notice about the date that will be available. I'm tired of check it every hour.
Please Alcatel show us that you are a serious company if you want to sell more smartphones in Latinoamérica.

Oh this is a terrible mobile number I have ever had.
it gets very hot in five minutes, it is really useless and waste of money to buy
this mobile. The local agent is terrible. Tried to get back my money but no one
picks the phone. Oh guys, do not waste your time and money for this crap .

Mine is model 6039y and i'm losing hope for ever getting MM :/ It's been a frikkin' month already since Alcatel announced their roll out to US users. They don't probably care about European users ._.

I can tell you that you can use it 24 hours, with wi-fi on with no problems. Quite cheap, I am waiting to see if after 2-3 months everything it's still the same.

Still no Marshmallow for model 6039y... i guess Alcatel forgot that they have released Idol 3 for Europe too ._. I hope Alcatel didn't plan to only release it in US and that's it?!? Come on!

Bought this phone last week. It cost £72 second hand in new condition. It is an absolutely amazing handset. The specs are high, and performs as well as any high end device. The screen is crystal clear and viewable from all angles without fading. It's fast, the camera is superb, the battery lasts a day with normal use. My only criticism is 8gb internal memory is not enough. Although you can use a micro SD. If you're low on cash but still need a good performing handset then you will not be disappointed with this one. My previous handsets have been Galaxy S6 edge plus, Xperia Z5, LG G4 and this is almost as good as all of them. No I'm not drunk, this is a quality handset.

I think this battery would be classed Li-Po because their website states it's "softpack".
