ThanksYes, it's been confirmed by Alcatel on their Facebook page but schedule is still unknown although Alcatel representative has said Alcatel is already working on/testing 6.0 update for Idol 3 (both 4.7&5.5 variations). I have 4.7 variant and honestly i never thought it will get Marshmallow update so this is great news! :)

I've tried it and it seems to work a little better.
Hope alcatel sends an upgrade to solve this issue, because it's really anoying.

I hav a lot of problems also with people that can not herar me.
I send phone (idol 3, 4.7) to reparation, phone came back, and after 2 days some problem happens.
I have aldo lot of white stains at screen

Hi,
my model is 4.7 and dual-sim.
These are the major issues found until now:
- audio degraded, especially when I join a call conference and is really difficult clearly hearing the speaker/s.
At the beginning I suspected that was the headphone but the same used on another device works properly.
- sometimes trying to recall a number from the call history is not working.
I noticed that happens in this particular condition: select the number, select "details" and then "modify before calling".
After this action is not possible make any call at all.
For both above issues the only way to solve is restarting the phone.
Has anybody experienced this problems and/or has any suggestion ?

so when installed in your phone
after you go to Setting apps , select,Open
and move to SD card storage .
This is good for applications that are not important ,
and not for facebook or games that need large memory
because after the phone will be slowing down
sd card most of the images and music

if the contact is in the SIM then it must be put in the phone memory , then select contact ,
soft menu key, and shows the block incoming calls , and mark .
also if you have AVG Antivirus , then open'it AVG icon , privacy , call and message blocker choose , calls or messages , up a small icon and select a contact to block . I hope I helped you and if yes then back again,

Beware the 6039K version is: 16GB internal memory dual sim come with dual sim tray , there is no SD card slot !!!!!! 11.5 GB end user memory but its a nice phones for its price.i purchased one with 180 usd unlocked + officiall alcatel flip cover

This phone has major issues with SD cards.
I have just spent two days trying to get it to recognise an SD card without success.
I have reformatted various cards using my PC. it is not possible to format them in the phone because it can't see them.
