The spec sheet for the Idol 3 provided by Alcatel on their US site shows that LTE bands 2, 4, 5, 7, 12, and 17 are supported for the US release.

I emailed to Alcatel to enquire about the preorder and there is no reply from them at all. The customer service support is unreliable.

Alcatel doesn't UPDATE, so your stuck with what you get. Most Alcatel is junk. This phone could be different, but beware.. Research Alcatel other phones in last year..

Alcatel needs to put a 2.0GHZ quad core and 1.5 GHz quad core and an adreno 430 for the best case, or maybe an adreno 420. Price it at 450-500 usd and a LOT of people will buy it and it could top the antutu charts.

The idol mini and idol/idol ultra were a flop, I owned the mini, had huge slowdowns due to the mediatek chip. Idol 2 was better with the qualcomm chip, idol 3 has stereo speakers. I currently have the E8 So the idol 4 might be a compelling option for me when I need a new phone.
