I had the opportunity to try this phone at the MWC and I must say I'm REALLY impressed. The Idol 3 packs great specifications (octacore, 5.5" screen, 2GB ram, 3000 mah battery, 13mp camera & lollipop!) in a very thin and attractive phone at a very appealing price point.

Is the slot hybrid Or not... moreIt is some metal thing that looks like extended sim card with 2 wholes for 2 sim cards, i think that thing is called tray or w/e. So you can use only 1 sim card by putting only 1 there, but you can also use 2 sim cards if you put both of them.

What does this optional dual sim? Is the slot hybrid Or not? Like it can be sim1 & sim2 & sdcard? Or sim1 & sdcard/sim2 can be inserted?

Currently use Alcatel One Touch Pop MEGA LTE (Wal-Mart Straight Talk unit) ,,, purchased for $250 and couldn't ask for a better unit. My only criticism is the screen - not Gorilla glass, and smudges easily. Other than that - GR-8 !!! I am giving very serious consideration to the One Touch Idol 3 ... coming out in April or May at $250 ??
