Guys, this fone is realy good.. I have it 10 days ago.. And work realy awesome
Battery life : good 6 hrs of constantly games and on 3G browsing otherwise it wud last the whole day if normal lite use
Sound quality: very pure, but u wud face waking up problems if u r heavy sleeper
Performance : realy awesome
Screen light : very clear, colorful and strong colors specially in outside sunlight
I bought it on jellybeans 4.2.2 and it says u have the latest version... I dont know why as i see many comments here who upgraded to kitkat
The only problem am facing is when am during a fone call and accessed the contacts to get a number or sth.. The other person CAN'T hear me at all like he is muted or sth.. Anyone have explanation for this weird problem!!?

after update to kitkat i m facing serious network drop issues. i returned the phone to the company also, but still i m facing the same problem after repair also. apart from the connectivity issue, everything else works perfectly. But what's the use when a device is not performing its intended function properly.
I lose some important phone calls as the connectivity is lost suddenly though the network signal strength symbol shows it as full strength. The problem is resolved only after i restart my phone.
idk what to do now. can anyone help me?

very good phone spec wise.. but facing this very common netwrk issue... even on full signal, the phone is nt reachable. hw do i solve this problem? does factory reset help?

My battery lasts for just 5 to 6 hrs and it drains very fast. I am on Kitkat. Is there a serious issue with the battery?

i want to but this budget phone from flipkart. i went thru the user opinions and found that after upgrading to kitkat there was signal strength problems. also tell me how is the camera performance in low light or otherwise as i am going to use it for documents screening very frequenty.
is the battery life fine ?
camera good?
is it upgradeable to lollipop in future?
how about the service center response in delhi?
and also which other phone is suitable if not alcatel idolx+

hello guys!i have updated my alcatel one touch idol x+ to kitkat version today
many have doubts,i think i can help them.
first of all there is an update of size of 63.8 mb ,which is for bug fixes
after updating that,you will see another update of size 489.2mb ,which is of kitkat version
some are asking about the changes after kitkat,so here there are:
1)weather and time widget
2)pre installed asphalt 7 was removed and z-app was given
3)in settings you got the new options like scheduled on/off ,printing
4)in sound column ,you have an option to set the vibration level
5)notification drawer slight changed by adding profiles,saving mode options
6)after rebooting the mobile i was getting 1.4 ram(after update) starts and remain constant at 1.1 -1.2gb ram instead of 1.6 gb ram (before update)due to highly customised ui as now one touch laucher uses 100 mb ram
7)battery draining stopped gives more battery life
8)now there is no option to set a colour to particular network signal
9)atlast ,there are no problems for my mobile like others said about led when fully charged,sim deactivating,3g not working etc..............................
now alcatel ui became more smoothier (before update there was lag while zooming in /out homescreen) and settings open quickly and now we can install apps like google camera etc...kitkate apps

and we need to tap on the sensor and not on the screen which is not good at all

last month X+ was in my hands..the only dislike is that when the screen turns to standby you have always rto push the on off buton and touchinf the screen is not availiable...it is only availiable when i have it on the base or charging..any ideas?
to mention tha t the phone came with greek specs..

Received my Idol X+ yesterday from flipkart. To my surprise, it is already pre-loaded with kitkat. I do not have to go through the upgrade now. Looks like everything works. Still testing.
