Nice update.cool look.Having some bugs though... I have network problems.Even though the phone shows full network,sometimes ill not be able to receive calls..And data connection is also aweful.... Pls fix this bug alcatel... Otherwise good..

There are network issues with this phone.
Sometimes network signals drops and does not restore until and unless i restart the phone.
Is this the problem with every alcatel phone or my piece may be faulty.
Please help me out with this issue as my phone is still under 30 days replacement warranty of flipkart. If my device will be faulty i will get it replaced. Else if there is any software bug please guide me how to fix it?

Hi,
I am using the phone for more than two months now. No issues seen as of now(even after updating to Kitkat).
But,in my phone, I am not able to read regional fonts. I am from Karnataka and not able to read any Kannada scripts on phone like news papers and apps. When I tried to open, I see all blanks...
Did anyone faced this issue? I have written to customer care but no response as of now...

Something is not right... I just ordered the Telus version wich they call alcatel Onetouch X+ 6043A . In the manual, you can see this detail too...They have the same manual on the Telus website for their available version and it clearly shows one slot for sim, one slot for SD Card (expendable to 64GB) So whats going on here...lol

Here you can check for any system updates available. Usually they are 500MB, so better use WiFi

KitKat update is 500Mb so better try with Wi-fi.

Go to lock screen settings for camera n unlock sliding.....
My notification led is turning of after full charging...
Finally sim also activating immediately... :)

After so many experiments... I updated my Alcatel.. really nice update 4.4.2...
Wow my ram not crossing 50% also.....
I update through mobile upgrade tool from www.alcatel.com

I have purchased Alcatel one touch idol x+ 2 months back in India and the handset was working fine, till the time I updated it to Kitkat.
Now I am facing the following issues:
1. Camera shortcut of swiping to the left on lockscreen hangs the camera and phone.
2. If I deactivate the sim manually, the network doesnot come back even after reactivating the sim. Have to reboot the phone to get the network back.
3. Phone LED remains on, even after the phone is fully charged during charging. Earlier it used to get off after the phone was fully charged.
Anyone has a solution to this??

After KitKat update, it seems that I am no longer able to use USB-OTG as default device. It practically breaks recording directly Camera? Please let me know how to resolve this issue?

i got it on my third time only
before starting upgrade restart ur mobile
noting is gonna happen if u pause it because i had internet problem and it got paused for 20 times
don't lose hope
