the network problem is quite common with kitkat after upgradation be it samsung,sony or our cellphone. its just samsung sony habe service centres unfortunately alcatel does not have service centres even it is only one or two in delhi that too hopeless ones.
its all about luck with alcatel idol x+ if u dont have any problem tjere is no other best phone in india at this price and have then u have the worst phone in market due to non availibility of service centres.

Please try activating your developer mode. Then while pressing power & volume up key reboot screen will come during reboot screen wipe out all data then apply factory reset. Mine problem for the network is solved after trying this. You may also try & revert to confirm to me if your phone gets fixed.

I was also facing same issues. I tries to activate my developer mode then wiping out all data during reboot then factory resetting the phone..
You may try and please revert if your phone gets fixed after trying this.

Hi,
I upgraded 4.4.2 and after that calender crashes and couldnt use the same.

Hey guys, i got this phone today. I want to update it to kitkat 4.4.2. I went to the About phone and then i tried to update but itwas only the 4.4.2-01004 version. It like a hou and a half to install and now i dont have another updates do 4.4.2? Whats wrong?

I called up alcatel customer care they are not willing to accept the bug in this phone they always say its your network carrier problem.
If you find any solution to this problem please share with me.
I think might be our pieces are faulty.
