the phone speaker is on left and right side is for mic like iphone .. the phone is amazing never lag or hang for for 3 months using all day only thing bad is battery life time not good but ok for little apps and classic games

1)root ur alcatel phone
2)download droidsansfallback.ttf (to downlad this ttf you search telugu font for android as in google or mail me to t.harishmca@gmail.com)
3)by using root file manger or es file manger goto ./system/fonts/ find droidsansfallback.ttf rename as droidsansfallback.ttf.bak then paste ur new downloaded droidsansfallback.ttf in fonts folder exit and reboot
4) rooting means avoiding warranty its ur own risk above steps worked for me (alcatel one touch flash)

Finally the update for Kit Kat has arrived to the EMEA region. At least the offical update, for 4.4.2....
It works fine altough the batery life could be better. The Xperia E4 dual that i gave to my wife is a lot better.
9/10, if it weren´t for the battery. i don´t think this one will ever get lollipop unfortunately :(

hi i am using this phone since 1 month. i doesnt found any problem. but i observed that sound is coming from bottom left side speaker hole only right side hole doesnet give any sound . do any have this type of problem.

I purchased alcatel onetouch mobile from flipcart. In only three days phone becomes overheated starting after few minutes.When given for servicing in service center, he said motherboard of phone is damaged due to water dropping,and no warranty liable for water dropping and cast of repair would be 6900/ while cost of this mobile is only 9999/-. Kindly help me that i should spend so much money for repair the set.

I am using this phone for last 6 months. there are lot of issues with signal strength with this phone. I have recieved 135.4 Mb software update but every time I download via OTA it gives error after 20% intallation and rolls back. Is anyone there who has success intalled this update.

I have purchased this mobile after so much of research on internet about phones, I had a very good opinion about Alcatel till i purchase this mobile. I lost all the hopes when i noticed over heating at very first phone call itself.
Camera clarity is very poor. lot of grains in the picture. my old Samsung phone 5MP camera clarity is far better than 13.1MP alcatel phone camera.
with in 5 days i have already placed a request to flipkart for refund of my money or any other trustable brand mobile of equalant cost. they said they can only replace the hand set.
I am completely unsatified with this mobile. FLIPKART should not promote these kind of products.
Its my request again in a good will, Please go for some proven good brand phones like LG samsung nokia sony etc...Dont by ALCATEL.

Great phone, cover is available on eBay from Chinese and Asian providers. Have issue with Contacts application as it takes long time to show the list.

I bought this phone on Aug 2014. at the initial months this phone looks good and fancy as well. Everyone looks this like a precious jewel in my hand. Unfortunately i couldn't get cover anywhere for this phone. the outer-side edges are designed with very poor quality. hence the normal wear and tear caused ugly look of the phone. Pathetically the performance of the phone came down after 5 months of usage. suddenly the phone started overheating even it was not in use even after all apps are stopped forcefully. Immediate after that the phone was kept rebooting and went to dead in the mid of 6th month. I send it for service and came back with battery replacement. Last month again the phone was keep rebooting and i sent it for service once again. service center informed me that the mother board is damaged because it was dropped. But i never dropped my phone. This phone is not at all a durable phone. May be you can buy and keep it in showcase so that it looks beauty like a Teen-girl. But if you start use it within 4 months it will become a granny for you. Please be cautious.
So what i am going to do is, I am going to ask my 5 months old son to keep his butt on this phone top so that will be crashed. Co owners of this phone please do the same so that you don't have to spend your effort like the money got wasted by buying this phone

Dear Expert Users,
I am using this phone from 7 months w/o any issue.
just have an query for mtklog files. Due to some errors now this folder is about 1.5Gb. Mainly space occupied by mdlog & mobilelog folders in mtklog.
Can we delete this? And is there any impact on working of OS after deleting. kindly suggest.
