I am not able to find a tempered glass screen protector for it. Please can anyone help me with this.
Is there any other tempered glass of any other model which can be applied on Alcatel one touch idol X+ ?
Would really appreciate some help..Thanks.

Hi!
I have been using this phone for more than 6 months now and have also upgraded to 4.4.2 baseband version 6592. I would like to share one thing, which I have discovered. If you update the phone over OTA, than it will not work fine and will have issues. Please update the phone only with the official update software by connecting to the laptop/computer. I have done the OTA update earlier and it was having problems like other people have mentioned. But once I updated it again by connecting to the laptop with update software, now the update is working fine and phone has no problem at all. Battery life has also increased. Regarding heating issue, Friends all the phones get heated while paying playing high end games. You will not get this specification and looks for such a price. Buy this phone and update it in right way through internet on laptop and you will not regret your decision.

3g was working in india and it does not work in thimphu, bhutan. telecom people says the 3g frequency in thimphu is 850 and the spec of alcatel onetouch idol X+ says it has 850 also.
is there a way to check the frequency relayed by telecom and the receiving capability of the phone?
if there is any mismatch, how to rectify, if at all possible?

good performance when playing games not ever lag i think its totally better than galaxy s4 or even s5 or even lg g3

hi i got it from flipkart but it is getting heated a lot when playing games like asphalt 8, beach buggy and moderate heating when browsing. Is there any one else having same issues?
Also when tested with cpu z battery is showing as 1000ma but not 2500ma can any one tell which is correct

Using this phone since last 3 months. These are the problems I am facing.
1) SIM card will not be recognizable all of a sudden and we need to restart the phone.
2) callers will get a message saying your phone is switched off. Worst thing to happen and you don't even know since when the phone is not working. You would have missed many calls.
3 Times phone was replaced by Flip kart & software is updated ; still same problem occurring again and again. Even there is no solution from customer care and service center people.

And since the update in Dec my phone won't answer calls in my car with the Bluetooth. Worked fine up until the update and all other phones still work in my car. Alcatel keeps trying to brush me off. Horrible company and with all the other issues I have with this phone..horrible phone. Huge regrets about giving this company a chance.
