Best phone ever. I have Alcatel Idol (orange SanRemo in Romania). It run smooth only with louncher NOVA.

have anyone also encountered a problem using their gpS or the location service of this phone? mine, cant identify my location. though i already checked all the settings. i might return this tom.

The RAM for 6030A is 512 MB and 6030D is 1GB.. Got it comfirmed from flipkart...

None of the shop... morego to ebay.in, search for alactel one touch idol 6030d ( "d" stands for dual sim )...you will get a few distributors in india who are dealing with this brand, ask them if they have the "dual sim" version & if yes, go get it..Only the Dual Sim version has 1GB Ram...please note that 6030"a" is single sim & will have 512mb ram only...infibeam & flipkart dont have Dual Sim version yet...good luck!

and about 70% of my customers that call about all phone models problem complain about this phone troubles
this phone so bad that every 5th customer complain about a it !!!
this phone is very unstable

Benchmark scores of this phone are really pathetic...one ... moreWhats the RAM on 6030a available in India. None of the shopping sites mention it. When I called Alcatel they said it was 512 MB but when I called the stores flipkart and infibeam both of them mentioned its 1 GB.
Can any owner of the phone in India confirm it please.

Phone is actually very nice, have it couple of days and im pleased. 6030x have 1gb of ram, applications runs fast, haven't tried games bcause im not using it for gaming, display is perfect with very clear and sharp colors. For this price could be best buy atm.
