Why the hell is alcatel over- promoting thier models in the philipines??? are they freakin stupid??? like seriously stop giving out the phone for "free" in worthless markets which will only degrade the brand further especially when your looking at a re-launch..for such a lovely reputed brand, they really need to re-consider their entire marketing strategies & focus on more prominent markets if they really want good business & respect!..i hope they are listening!!!

It is the best set on the price rating compare to other set of the same specs. Remember.
Every smart phone need a night charging.
Pixel rating is sufficient enough to not disturbe vision.
Shape and size is perfect.
Very fine finishing.
Not very thick and heavy.
Battery ..... i prefer to Chang the set when battery is finishing its life.
And phone is a daily continuius using thing after 2 years it is to be change anyone of you have seen any old set in use.?
No be cause its life is only 2 years.
So before the battery is dead you have another choice and want to Chang set.

Sometimes the back button dont respond..i need to restart my phone to make it respond again.. what do you think the problem the unit or in software??

Idol user here from philippines..got mine from sun plan 600
Its the 6030a version, 512mb of ram, single sim..1ghz dual core cpu and powervr sgx 531 gpu.
Rooted, ram manager installed and using nova launcher to replace the stock, deleted most of the bloatware apps and currently 270 apps installed including games, social apps, office apps etc.. i use it mainly to read ebooks, powerpoint and a lot of other materials, play games about 3hrs per day and heavy sms and some calls..
The 512 mb ram is sufficient for me, the 1800mAh battery can get me up the whole day with 30% left before charging. Camera is average, 5mpxl from sony can beat our 8mpxl in clarity and contrast. But one thing i love about this IDOL is the screen, it is absolutely gorgeous and in my opinion comes close to the iphone 5 but galaxy s4's screen is too good compared to idol. Browser experience is superb.
One close competition to idol is xperia sola, both phones can duel side by side in specs.
Been using it for 1month now and i absolutely love it.
P.s SCREW YOU SUN CELLULAR FOR GIVING US THE 512mb version and not the 1gb one

I got it yesterday it is great phone for surfing, but when you are gaming the phone is getting hot. Battery goes down very quicly. Nice camera and screen
